When they recommended a procedure they told me they would contact me with my fees before having the procedure done. Once they gave me a total, I went ahead and had the work done, then after the procedure the fee was 5 times more than what they told me. I did let them know what they had quoted me and they said it was a mistake and honored the original fee quoted. Then three months later they sent me a bill with the higher amount. If someone made a mistake admit to it don't blame the insurance and then wait three months to bill me when you could have just admitted the error the day of the procedure.

I love this place and all the staff. Very professional and kind. I don’t know how it’s possible, but I rarely even feel the shots. She is very gentle. I am very sensitive and deal with a lot of chronic pain. She is very empathetic and makes me as comfortable as possible. 💗

Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Balmoral. Everyone on staff was very friendly and the hygienist had such a gentle touch that I almost dozed off! I look forward to my semiannual cleanings.

Dental work was great and the only reason they deserve even one star. Paid $300 up front in cash for a tooth extraction and they billed our insurance, who was supposed to reimburse us later. Balmoral then billed and harassed us for months, claiming the extraction was not paid for. Finally after we talked to them several times, they agreed it must have been a clerical error, but the bills didn't stop coming. They then gave us a nasty phone call and said we owed them $80 more. We explained the service had already been paid for, and that we had already spoken to someone from Balmoral who told us this must have been a clerical error. The person on the phone told us that if we didn't have a receipt it wasn't their problem and that they would turn us over to collections, all over $80 that we didn't even owe in the first place. The dentist was nice and the work she did was fine, but the billing dept needs to get sorted out because this is ridiculous. Do NOT recommend.

I can not say enough good things about Balmoral. I went in DYING of pain needing a root canal. they made sure to get me in and do everything in their ability to relieve the pain by draining it until I could go see my primary dentist in Birmingham. They EXCEEDED my expectations. I will never go anywhere else.
