First let me admit, I have been terrified of sitting in the dentist chair on so many occasions. Just the thought of it used to send shivers down my spine.
My experiences with Dr. Shedd as my dentist, however, have changed that almost completely. He is able to put me at ease and calm my fears almost immediately with his confident and knowledgeable manner, without ever being condescending or dismissive of my fears. His assistant Stephanie is so nice and friendly, too. The office is clean and professional looking. All of these factors combine to make the usual dreaded trip to the dentist a positive and pleasant experience.
Quite possibly the best part about Shedd Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, though, is Dr. Shedd's expertise, skill, and ability to tailor the care to his patient. He knows what he is doing, and he is good at it. In addition to providing basic dental care, he has helped me achieve the straighter, whiter smile I always wanted. He patiently explained my options, which included porcelain veneers and invisalign, and helped me choose the path that was best for me. There were never any surprises with regard to cost or treatment, and I am extremely happy with the results.
