Vital Smiles

I liked the dentist but I did not like the tech no sensitivity. One the amount of time she took in what she was doing and the time I was just left there just laying there not knowing what was going on. Two listening to country music. And three she said to the dentist " I hate when they have holiday on Monday, he said what Martin Luther King's day? She said yes they are closing everything. He said yes even banks. She said yes they are even closings the daycares and we are not closed here, what are we supposed to do. He said you can bring them here. She said I thought about that but I have the baby. I think one that's personal talk and two she racist because she doesn't want Martin Luther King's day observed because it interfered with her daycare needs. And plus playing country music while your client is of another race and just laying there for a long amount of time.

Went in person to make an appointment today after not being able to get thru via phone. Been going to Vital Smiles since 2006 and always was treated well along with my children until today. Receptionist that set up my appointment was very rude and hateful. I hope she changes her field of employment because she's the most unhappy hateful person I've ever seen at this office!

Staff at Smiles are very friendly and professional. Doctor is very patient friendly. He’s very gentle most important he made me feel comfortable feeling my teeth. I recommend anyone to make Vital Smiles your Dentist. You will never be disappointed.

The staffs are really friendly and they make my visit real comfortable. They are very professional and they treat there patients with respect. Dr. Mike is the best. He did my extraction and it didnt hurt at all. If you are looking for a family dentist I would recommend vital smiles, very comfortable lobby and play areas for the kids.

We have always had great experiences with vital smiles. They are great with children and I look forward to experiencing the same myself. I would definitely recommend vital smiles to others. The receptionists are awesome and the dentists are great too. Extremely friendly!

I have been taking my children to Vital Smiles for 10 years now. As of lately the front office/ receptionist are always rude and slick at the mouth whenever I've called to make an appointment (took me 6 weeks, and 4 calls to get someone courteous enough to schedule my appointments for my children). Very short demeanor, nasty attitudes, and are NOT very helpful. Don't try calling because your needs will never get met over the phone. It's a problem to ask questions, it's a problem to request anything that you need and have them prepare it for pick-up! It's just too much work for them. Furthermore, If it wasn't for Dr. Michael or Dr. Laura along with a few of the techs being the ones who are hands on with my children I would most definitely find somewhere else to take them. Lets fast forward to actually going to the office and the prescription not being ready to pick-up. So now I sit and wait....waiting only to be told that they would NOT write a prescription for pain medication for my 13 year old son because of his size and age, but just earlier that morning I had taken my 7 year old nephew and he was given antibiotics along with a prescription for pain medication(seriously). I was told "The owner, Dr. Rose was the person who initially wrote the prescription. He normally doesn't work in their office but he was there helping out and he had not put anything in the clinical notes, therefore; another doctor would not go behind him and write one( I completely understood that)." When I asked could they call him and see if he would give him something. Well, that was a problem because it was suggested that he would not because it wasn't in the clinical notes. Why not try? Is that too much to ask? Who wants to see their child in pain. Rotating Tylenol and Ibuprofen isn't working nor lasting. Now my son has to spend spring break in Orlando in pain. Very disappointed with Vital Smiles at this point especially the front desk.

I usually enjoy Vital Smiles but the past few appointments have been very hectic, make an appointment for 2:30 and don’t get in the actual chair till after 3:40. My son, who is asd, cannot handle that long of a wait. I really don’t want to have to change him to someone he is not familiar there but if the wait time is going to keep getting worse I will have to...

Nice friendly staff, clean office, they do great work. Overall great experience! I've been going here since I was young and now my son does too. Would definitely recommend.

Vital smiles hires caring staff. My kids did well and they loved the kids area. Get your child used to the dentist so that way in the future if you have something to do then they will be fine with their guardian.

My kids love coming to Vital Smiles with the friendly faces, kid atmosphere, and love not having to worry what is going on because parents can watch their kids while getting their teeth cleaned in the window! Best pediatric dentist!
