Northcutt Dental

While shopping for groceries, I ran into one of my favorite dental hygienist, Katie Jernigan. She told me that she'd left the office that I'd known her from and is currently working for Northcutt. Because of her, I visited Northcutt Dental. I called yesterday and got an appointment for today. My entire family went...me and my four children. We were in and out in about 2 hours.

Our visit to the Mobile office was amazing. The office staff was professional, kind, and thorough. The service prices were affordable. The facility was clean and very kid-friendly...and if that wasn't enough, as new patients, we all received a welcome gift at the end of our exams.

I love Northcutt Dental and will be recommending them to all of my family and friends.

I always have such a great experience at Northcutt Dental! The staff are always super informative and very sweet. I was provided with excellent service! I love Alexis, Mary, and Dr. Tran!! Always want to have them when I go! The facility is very clean, and there is never a long wait. I definitely recommend using Northcutt Dental!

I have always received excellent care and service from this practice. Employees Katie and Brittney were very gentle and knowledgeable and created a very pleasant experience on my most recent visit. I have had a root canal at this facility and was surprised to not feel even feel the Lidocaine shots that usually are quite painful. The doctor ensured I was properly numbed up and comfortable and performed a speedy operation. If you're looking for a new dental practice in Mobile, this is where you want to go.

I always have a great experience at Northcutt! All of the staff from the front desk to the back are very friendly and helpful! Brittany was my Hygienist and Haley was her assistant and they were both very sweet and thorough! 10/10 :)

Yesterday was my first visit at Northcutt Dental in Mobile (Cottage Hill & Schillinger) and I loved it! I had a new patient cleaning and exam. Not only were they expertly efficient, they were prompt, kind and clearly communicative. It was a easy, fast and painless visit.

Katie did my cleaning and she was amazing! She explained the actions she was preparing to take and what each of measurements indicated. The technician who helped me (I do not remember her name) was also great to deal with – she was very considerate and polite and made the x-rays enjoyable. Dr. G was very good and took the time to answer my questions and prepare me for our next set of services (when my insurance waiting period is up).

Checking in was easy and the paperwork was minimal, which is appreciated. There was no more than a few minutes of waiting which was enjoyable in their clean and bright waiting area. They have a very considerate refreshment station with cold water which I took advantage of. I noticed they have a children’s play area and will keep them in mind when our daughter’s teeth come in.

An added bonus – their new patient welcome pack includes the standard toothbrush, paste and floss and a Tervis tumbler! Love that!

I am looking forward to being a life-long patient with Northcutt as long as we are in the Mobile area.

I have always had extremely. good dental care. at Northcutt Dental.I was provided with excellent service.Dr. Jerald Dixon is my dentist .He is very good with his patient and caring. His assistant is very good and extremely aware of what she supposed to be doing.;and she knows her job. I love going to Northcutt in mobile and the atmosphere there is Great!

I hate to be a contrarian here..
I had avoided going to the dentist for several years, but tooth pain was forcing the issue, so I picked a nearby Dentist (Northcutt) which seemed to have good reviews and made an appointment. I was pleased because I only had to wait a few days and the appointment was the first of the day (0730) which was when they officially opened. This was great for me as not only was I nervous about the visit, but I have social anxiety and I knew it would mean essentially no waiting.. WRONG.. I got there around 7:10 and sat in the parking lot, a little puzzled, as while some staff were walking in, I clearly saw patients park and then walk straight in. At 7:26 after watching more and more people go in, I did get out of my car and go in.. and then left promptly as the waiting room had at least 7 people (again at 730!?) and I would rather find another solution than wait around with lots of people, obviously far from first in line. I cannot comment on the quality of the dentistry as I didn't get as far as experiencing it. Maybe 'stacking' patients is common, but I have never actually been in a dentist office with close to that many patients, and if that's literally the beginning of the day, when theoretically it should be at it's least crowded, it's not the place for nervous people like me (hence one star) and I didn't like the fact that they actually open earlier than advertised, so I couldn't avoid a wait. I also don't think crowding patients like that is a good idea in the time of Covid-19..

This was my first time to Northcutt Dental in Mobile. I had a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The staff and Dr. Mason were super nice and they greeted you with a friendly smile. I have been seeing dentist for several decades and this was the best dental care I have ever received. The office was super clean and up to date with style. Plus the fact, you had a flat screen TV to watch while they cleaned your teeth. Jessica, my dental hygienist, was super nice and friendly and did an excellent job in cleaning my teeth. I would recommend Northcutt Dental in Mobile to anyone looking for a dentist that puts you first in dental care. Thank you Dr. Mason and staff.

Having relocated to Mobile recently, we are so thankful to have found Northcutt Dental Mobile for our family dentistry needs. The staff and ambiance of the office is wonderful! The waiting room has a section for young toddlers and infants, room for older kids with bean bags and video games, and don't forget the coffee and popcorn stations. The waiting room opens right into the staff area, which is kept very neat and organized. Plus, all rooms have their own TV that you can watch while you are waiting (although wait is very minimal, if any at all). My hygienist is Michelle, who is super sweet, gentle, and efficient! Definitely a recommend to all!

The dental work is good. The front desk people are nice. The people that work in the back need to up their personalit and the way they interact with patients. I'm terrified of dentist but yet they continued to discuss my treatment with someone they were teaching in my presence . Please do that out of eat shot. It made me more nervous.
