They just stole almost 200 from me after telling me my bill would be 61 dollars. They snuck my adult daughter balance onto mine. Me and the office Manger went back and forth bc they charged me without telling me and this condescending troll of a woman had the audacity to say to me, "Well its mother's day, maybe she'll pay you back since your obviously such a good mom."

Dr. Ryerson and his staff are very throrough and professional. They treat you first class from the time you enter until the time you leave. While no one enjoys going to the dentist, this staff makes the experience enjoyable. The cleaning and received yesterday, which do to Covid was long overdue, was the most professional, courteous, and thorough cleaning I have ever received. The staff is committed to helping their patients have a healthy mouth.

I just moved to TN in December, so I am very new to the area. I found these lovely people online through a google search. Based on reviews, I felt like driving a hour and fifteen minutes for an appointment was totally worth it, and I was right. Extremely friendly staff!! I had less than a fifteen wait time which is amazing!! The doctor wanted what was best for me and really wants to know your opinion when it comes to your care and how you want to go about your care. He gave options and explained each option very clearly and thoroughly. So incredibly happy they popped up on my screen!! They will be my “forever” dentist!! =)

Best dentistry in the Shoals!! Dr. Derek is first class and knows his field extremely well. Always puts his patients first and genuinely cares about them. Ryerson & Associates is completely professional with a close family feel. You will not be disappointed.

Hygienist, Theisa Nichols is the best! She is so comforting, kind and thoughtful! She makes me feel like I'm very taken care of and gives me her full attention while in her chair. This means so much due to my long-standing fear of the dentist dating from many years ago. Dr. Derek is definitely top notch in his on right as well! He has the best demeanor and bedside manner of any dentist I have ever encountered. He is very thorough as well as explanatory in his communication to me as a patient. I recommend them above any other dental office by far!

Dr. Ryerson is absolutely the best dentist in North Alabama. Teena, dental hygienist, is one of my favorite people. Ryerson and Associates has an outstanding group of caring people who always go above and beyond the normal expectations for a dental office.

Always a great experience! They really cater to their patients...from the water, Gatorade, coffee bar, to the parafin wax for your hands, to the Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, to the nice, friendly staff. Tina is the best! My employer changed insurance providers and they didn’t take my insurance for a while. We went to another dentist and my teeth never felt at clean as they do when she cleans them. Awesome dentist!!

I was referred to Dr. Ryerson’s by a friend I work with. I’m not the one that truly likes going to dentist. Nothing personal against any of them, I just don’t take care of my teeth like I should.

So after I got signed in, the dental hygienist was one of the nicest kind-hearted people. She introduced herself and walked me back to her station. She was very detailed on everything that she was going to do or what she would need to do for me. She didn’t hound me about not flossing enough, but I was truthful from the get-go about it.

The whole staff is energetic and friendly, it has that close knit family feel.

I highly recommend this group. They handle from kids to adults. After my teeth cleaning, while checking out, they offered me a fresh cookie. Wasn’t expecting to see something of that at a dentist by any means, but the gesture was amazing. Not typical to have something like that offered at dentist. Look forward to using them as my primary dentist from now on.

Dr. Ryerson is the best dentist I have been too. Along with years of wonderful experience he genuinely cares and does not rush through patients. He recommends what is needed not what brings extra insurance money to the table.
