I have been to 3 Singing River locations & seen several different dentists. Dr Connel at the Russellville location is the first time I’d say I’d recommend him & request him for future appointments. He was friendly, personable, caring, & took the time to explain my options to me-twice because it was so confusing. I highly recommend him over the ones at Muscle Shoals & Tuscumbia!!
I hate to admit, I don’t recall my hygienist’s name. She was very kind, sweet & friendly. Even remembered me in the hall & said hi! Great team at this location!!

The staff was relatively friendly although the receptionist talked at me as though I had no ability to understand something as complicated as how insurance works
The doctor himself gave me gave me overall good news but pointed out that I had a infected tooth but left it at that so now that infected tooth has swelling around the gum line so now another dentist visit is in my future yay me but it will be to another office

Pros:
- Very Kind staff and Comforting dentist
- Professional and helped me learn about the deeper dental issues I have.
- Comforting feeling when you walk in. Not a bland, cold, dentist office.
- Allows my dad to come back with me.
Cons:
- They don't use (at least for me) my preferred name. They ask you if you have one on your application sheet but it's a bit redundant to put a preferred name if they don't use it, it really dampens the appointment because I'm non-binary but I just push through it because I need work on my teeth and they're the best and most medically caring towards my teeth I've been to.

Dr. Connell and his team were the absolute best! I tend to have dental anxiety and they ALL went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease. My hygienist, Kaley, was the sweetest and cutest. She made me feel like I was talking to a long time friend. They were all extremely professional and prompt. Simply the best.
