Dr. Klump, Dr. Schmitz and their entire team at Alaska Advanced Dentistry is 100% amazing! From the minute I walked into the door to leaving their parking lot I felt like family and so comfortable. I had a whitening done and with just my 1st session there's an incredible difference, can't way for phase 2!!!

I really love this practice. Everyone is friendly, kind, and professional. After losing my long time dentist to retirement and going through a couple of other dentists, I’ve found the place l want to stay at. Well worth giving this place a try!

Dr. Malcom and his hygienists have always listened to all my concerns and address each one of then. The hygienists do a good job cleaning and are patient with questions . I highly recimmend this dental practice!

Everybody at Alaska Advanced Dentistry are incredible. They turned an unfortunate event into a very positive experience for me. In August of 2012, my front tooth was knocked out while I was working in Seward. This happened the day before I was to fly to the lower 48 to be a groomsman in my best friend's wedding. I called Alaska Advanced Dentistry in Anchorage and told them essentially, that I needed a new front tooth, that very next morning, before I had to catch a flight. I know there are many other dentist offices that would have said: "sorry, tough luck." Not these guys. They contacted one of their dentists, who then scheduled me BEFORE her first client of the day because there were no other options that would work for me. From the receptionist to my awesome dentist Dr. Stacy Schmitz Reece to the other dentist in the office Dr. Klump, the staff took it upon themselves to help me with my situation. You don't see that too often these days.
Furthermore, the entire office was very professional. The office was clean and comfortable. I love how Dr. Schmitz Reece collaborated with her assistant and included me in every discussion or decision that was made. I was never out of the loop and I felt like I was in good hands throughout the morning. Most importantly, they did an amazing job. The procedure was relatively quick, it was not painful, and the job was very thorough. My tooth looked EXACTLY like it did before the accident. Months later (Nov), the tooth is holding up great even though I elected to take the more short-term solution because I didn't have the funds to pay for a permanent implant. Thanks to Alaska Advanced Dentistry my best friend did not have to deal with a groomsman with no front tooth. Can you imagine how my speech would have gone?

I used to loooove this place. I moved away for a couple years and came back and I just can’t recommend them anymore. I had a bad experience last time with an extremely condescending and pushy admin staff. I also feel that they will push any and every single procedure they could possibly find to recommend rather than try and work with you on what can wait and what needs to be done urgently. I wish I could afford what was recommended to me but at this point I have no idea if I even need it all. I have sought a second opinion and decided this office just isn’t what it used to be for me. Sad to go.

I love how convenient the location is. I never see a bunch of people lined up in the waiting room. I try to always be on time or a little early so I never sit and wait and wait and wait like I have at other dentists offices. Most importantly they don’t shame you for the condition of your teeth. They are just glad you are there seeking treatment
