I have nothing but the highest of highest compliments to dish of Fireweed Family Dentistry. Dr. Maloney has taken care of my dentist needs since I first ran in with an abscessed tooth and he immediately sought to take care of it. I was thankful to have a dentist who recognized my needs and being a first patient, did not hesitate to prioritize me. Since then I have gone back to get my cleaning as well as fillings done and it has been beautifully done. His staff is more than friendly and accommodating as well as professional and proficient. I highly recommend anyone seeking to find a long-term dentist to find themselves at home here.

Broke a tooth and stopped by to make an appointment and was told by receptionist if I waited they would work me in (I was not in pain so it could have waited). Dr Maloney worked me in and fixed tooth. Everyone was super nice and I was pleasantly surprised to get my tooth fixed and not have to worry about it. Thanks so much!

Dr Maloney is a great dentist dedicated to his patients. He understands busy schedules and works to accommodate for them. I have been attending Fireweed Family Dentistry since I was young and I have recently had a crown done at Fireweed Family Dentistry. When I went in with tooth pain he quickly diagnosed the problem and referred me to an endodonist. I went back to Fireweed Family Dentistry to get the crown done and now I can hardly tell the tooth isn't real. It was overall an amazing experience.

I will never, ever go back to Stephen Maloney's office. He came out over the top rude and sarcastic. After a preliminary, and very rushed initial exam, he basically insinuated that I was too poor to pay for what needed to be done. He actually told me that my best option was to "marry rich", and that getting dental insurance as a single woman would be useless. He insinuated, based on my field of social work, that there's no way I would be able to pay for his services otherwise. When asked if he took payment plans, he all but said he thought I would never pay him and refused. His incredibly unprofessional, demeaning, and sexist attitude was nauseating. I left his office crying. His staff assured me that my treatment plan would be mailed to me, but after two months of not having received it, I called to inquire about its status and his staff had "forgotten". Also, they charge a ridiculous fee for a copy of your x-ray, despite the fact that a 25-minute initial exam with him costs hundreds.

Edit: For some reason, this office deemed it appropriate to comment with my specific medical services and fees, in a public setting? Is patient confidentiality not a thing?

They are good and honest to their patients. They have a lots of experience. I will recommend this dentist to my family's and friends.

I have been going to Dr. Meloney for six years, and I have taken my parents and other family members for their dental needs, too. Dental visits may be somewhat scary, and I feel nervous. However, all of his staff members are friendly, welcoming, and understanding of my dental concerns and fears. Seeing the same staff every time gives me a feeling of trust and confidence in their work. Additionally, the office has a family-like atmosphere. Dr. Meloney is very knowledgeable in his profession and reliable in his care. Thank you Dr. Meloney!

I have had poor experiences at other dentistry's and it has built fear inside of me for so long. After becoming a patient at Fireweed Family Dentistry, I can honestly say that the fear is no longer there. Dr. Maloney and his staff are amazing. They are friendly and welcoming. In addition, Dr. Maloney is kind and gentle when he is working on your mouth. I have never felt pain while undergoing any dental procedure. I would recommend Fireweed Family Dentistry to anyone!

My wife and I found Dr. Maloney off of Groupon 4 years ago. Since then we have been loyal to their office. We regularly see them every 6-months and have had nothing-but positive experiences until last month.

When I went in for my annual teeth cleaning I was told of three minor cavities that needed to be filled. The estimate for my out of pocket was about $600 ($200 per tooth). I scheduled an appointment for a couple weeks later to get them filled. However, this appointment would show a different side of Dr. Maloney that I'd only heard about, but never witnessed. I'm not sure if Dr. Maloney was having a bad day or what, but his extreme unprofessionalism during this appointment ended our business relationship.

Also, as a heads-up to others, my cost estimate was grossly underestimated. I went in to get three minor cavities filled for ~$600, but wound up owing $2,500! Dr. Maloney said he had to drill a "bigger hole," which increased my cavities to $1,000. Oh, and now the big hole cavity he fixed needs a crown that costs over $1,500.

Buyers beware.

This is the best dentistry ive ever been to! I grew up as a little kid going here and i loved the treasure box at the end of the appointment! Dr. Maloney, you rock! I have excellent teeth now
