I had such a great experience at Northwind today!! Paris did an excellent job cleaning my teeth- very gentle and calm...no vigorous cleaning like I've had before! Dr. Thayne was very kind and considerate. They treat you like family and are very honest with you. Kiama was super helpful and friendly with all the paperwork and insurance!! I'll be telling everyone I know that there's an exceptional dentist in Wasilla!!!! Thanks for the great experience!!!!

I had what I thought was a dental emergency in the evening. Left a message, and was answered by text right away! Amazing! They worked me in the next day. Found I needed some work. I had to wait only an hour for the wonderful male hygienist to have time to do a very thorough cleaning. Then they worked me in that week to receive the rest of what I needed. My husband and I are relatively new in the area. We are so glad we found this dental office. We highly recommend Dr. Dawson and his whole crew. Everyone smiles and cares.

Very nice and expertly knowledgeable office. From making my appointment to seeing the hygienist and the dentist it was a pleasure. I’m actually looking forward to my next visit and am not dreading it like it did with my former dentist. I cannot recommend them higher!!

I FINALLY FOUND A DENTIST TO LOVE!!!!
I’m that person who DREADS dentists. When my partial dentures of four years went missing, I was forced to find a dentist here in the valley. It’s been a blessing to become a patient of Dr. Dawson and his wonderful crew! For the first time in my life, I don’t fear dental work, and I actually stay current on regular cleanings. Everyone here is so nice, gentle and truly makes it a painless visit.
Dr. Dawson’s work on my dentures is flawless. He takes every measure possible to assure they’re a perfect fit. They’re comfortable, look great, and I can finally chew anything!

So grateful to have found a dentist that is wonderful with my whole family and respects our choices. Great communication between the dr. and patient, we always feel cared for and understand every step of the process of the treatment before we begin.

I started with this office in 2003, when it was Dr. Mclean's, and have been going there ever since. While change is always hard, I can say that in the almost two years that I've been going to Dr. Dawson, I've found that, in addition to being a great dentist, he's kind, personable, and professional. I've had several dental cleanings now, as well as a wisdom tooth extraction, all of which went very well (and this is from someone who's always been super anxious about any dental work)
Also, the hygienist is super nice & friendly as well. Definitely a great office.

Being a new patient they were able to get me in quickly and address both my short term and long term needs. All the staff were very professional and have established a friendly welcoming environment. I’ve been coming to Northwind Dental since I was a little girl and of course I miss Mr. McLean but thankful that Dr. Dawson is the person who now my dentist. He is very considerate and kind hearted. The entire staff have excellent communication, manners and are so friendly… plus super skilled in their professional practice. If you’re looking for a family dentist, look no further.
