I was having a toothache and I am from Northern Mn on vacation here. I called at 8:11 am and was seen by Dr Mackey at 8:30. He determined that I needed to see an endodonist and prescribed antibiotics. Dr Mackey referred me to Prescott Valley Endodonics Association. I was having my root canal treatment by 3:30!!!! Dr. Mackey has a very kind and caring and capable staff!!!! Thank you so much!

After experiencing pain with a problem wisdom tooth Mackey Family Dentistry was able to get me in same day for an evaluation. After X-ray, they worked me in and extracted the tooth same day! Rates were more than fair, and the dentist and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Look no further, this is the place to go!

Initially started out good, but slowly encountered unfriendly staff and hygienist. Could not schedule second cleaning even six months out which defeats the purpose of cleaning twice a year.

I'm so glad I called this office! I was looking to establish new dental care after moving. Every other office I called in Cottonwood (I called all of them I think) required two separate visits for a new patient: one for the initial exam, and then a separate appointment for any cleaning (plus another visit if I needed a filling). The offices were adamantly unwilling to combine the appointments. The amount of my time required for 2 separate visits was super frustrating to me (getting out of work, driving there, waiting, etc). I called Mackey Family Dentistry as the last number on my list and they were able to do both the new patient visit and cleaning in the same appointment -no problem. The staff were efficient, super friendly and completed a fantastic cleaning in a timely manner. Dr. Mackey was personable and professional. I came in later for a filling and had another great experience. I'm very pleased that I established my care with them. I highly recommend.

My husband and I have never really been a huge fan of the dental office but we figured it was time we go in. Dr.Mackey was recommended to us by our neighbor who goes there. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left we were treated like family. We were able to get our cleanings and treatment done within two weeks. My husband especially was very pleased with his crowns that were placed and that says alot coming from him. If you're in the market for a new dentist with reasonable prices I highly recommend Dr.Mackey and his staff.

I came in with an infection around a right back molar. I thought he might do a deep cleaning, but after the x-rays he told me the tooth was cracked under the crown. So let's refer me to a periodontist to pull it! Then when asked if he would do the deep cleaning he told me no, he couldn't do it. It seemed that he really didn't want to help me. Just pass me on.
Then when the crown fell off, oops.....no crack in the tooth!!
