Today Dr. Shanahan and his excellent staff fixed a failed root canal I had done years ago. He's personable, explains what's going on, and his staff takes care to ensure you're comfortable. He has some of the latest in dental technology, including a 3D imaging X-ray, to provide the very best care.
I will be going back.

When Dr. Shanahan found out that I was getting chemo and radiation he contacted me about the extra care needed for my teeth. He provided me with information about what could happen and how to prevent problems. It was amazing. Dr. Shanahan was very sincere and caring and he really "stepped up to the plate" to help me. He certainly went above and beyond the call of duty.
My family has been going to this dental office for many years and the entire staff is helpful and kind. I have sent many of my friends to him and they all have been happy.

They told me to come in at 730am. Didn't even get seen until 2pm. Got a tooth extracted. Worst experience at a dentist appointment ever. The assistant had maybe worked there for 2days. Dr. Shanahan was rude and never even checked on me when the procedure was over. He made me scared to even go to another dentist. DONT EVER GO THERE!!

Sorry can not give a good review on crown..my crown came out after 2 years..some do but this took out part of tooth so have to get a new crown..insurance will not cover this because they will not cover it before 3 years, I have gold crowns in my mouth old as 35 years.
If you get done maybe you should ask how long your crown should last, all other crowns i have had done are done the regular way not right then

The office staff is exceptional and friendly! It only gets better after meeting these folks. Dr. Shanahan is the most skilled dentist I have ever encountered - AND, he is a really neat person! He talks to you like you matter, explains things clearly and in detail, and takes his time. You never feel rushed, you never feel like he is preoccupied. He is spot on focused on you and what it takes to help you.
His dental staff are just this good as well! These are also highly train and caring people.
The office is equipped with the latest high-tech equipment I have seen since watching Star Trek... seriously, what they have at this office (or is it a lab?) is incredible.
Kathy and I recommend you try this terrific dentist. In our opinion (and we have traveled the world) Dr. Shanahan is the best choice if you need a dentist.
