The dental hygienist and the brief time I spent with their dentist were fine.

Their billing staff however and ultimately their leadership, are flawed and seem to be incapable of properly billing. They’re rates are also much higher given that their quote for a crown was drastically more expensive and would have required multiple trips, rather than the one day their competition in the target shopping center on Cotton delivered.

They told my wife and I that they worked with our insurance. Yet both of our standard annual cleanings, which are supposed to be completely covered under insurance, have resulted in MR dentistry sending us bills.

I ended up having to pay for wand imaging performed during my annual cleaning because it wasn’t covered by my insurance. This is information that this office should know so that they can present their patients with an accurate estimate of costs prior to the start of services.

Oh and those bills, don’t expect them in a timely manner. I just received one after nearly a year having passed.

So their inability to perform their jobs properly and lack of understanding what procedures are covered under your insurance, will result in surprise charges being made to you.

To be clear. I don’t expect all of my procedures to be free. My crown down the hill certainly wasn’t. But my provider on Cotton presented with me with an estimate and that estimate was close to what I actually paid.

When one goes in for an annual cleaning, that has been covered without additional cost by all their previous dentists, an eye brow gets raised when MR dentistry charges for not just one but two covered cleanings.

So, rather than receiving surprise charges and paying more for arguably lower quality dental work, instead drive ten to fifteen minutes down Cotton or Estrella where you’ll have a variety of providers to choose from.

Dr. Rolfe and his staff take great care to make patients feel like a member of an extended family. Very pleased with the hygienists I’ve experienced there and his care, specifically. Would definitely recommend.

Everyone in the office goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable. Dr. Rolfe has been great in alleviating my anxiety throughout several recent procedures I recently had done.

Everyone in this office is capable, thoughtful and professional. Everyone was very gentle in the examinations and cleanings, doctors and assistants were very clear in their explanations and future plan and everyone at the front desk was lovely. The office is immaculate and clean and they maintain the facilities above and beyond Covid status. We’re very happy with our care at Mountain Ranch Dentistry.

A great experience no doubt..the staff were very friendly for the most part. The dental hygienist and the dentist were not social people, both professional and never rude..just not social creatures, but then again I wasn't paying them to ask about my day. The rest of the staff were very pleasant. The dentist did a great job explaining everything to me.
