Minted Dental

I moved to Phoenix a year and half ago and needed a new Dentist. This was a new office that opened in our Neighborhood and we decided to give them a try, my Fiance and I both love the doctor and her staff! The office is clean, COVID friendly, and they have TVs in every cleaning room so that you can watch while getting worked on vs staring at the bright lights and ceiling tiles, lol. We're so happy we have found our new dentist!

Happy patient here! This was my first visit to Dr. Patel and everything went very well. The office staff were all super nice, highly professional, and kept things moving along efficiently. Dr. Patel was thorough and very personable. Excellent protocol with the covid-19 issues. I was very pleased with this visit. Thanks to everyone at the office.

Excellent décor of the office and all digital equipment with low radiation made me very comfortable. Staff was very Friendly and helpful. Dr. Patel was extremely good with communication she pointed out the potential problem area with digital pictures and explained me what's she going to do on this visit. Once she was done cleaning she shoed me the difference before and after the cleaning with the pictures and I was very happy with the quick and painless visit.

Dr. Patel and her team are fantastic! Everyone makes sure you are comfortable from the second you walk in. Dr. Patel explains everything thoroughly and makes sure you know what is going on. I can’t recommend Minted Dental enough!!!

Love this place. Super clean and inviting office. Very engaging and professional staff that sets them apart form your typical dental visit. Thankful they were referred to us! Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team was very professional and friendly what makes me feel like family. Would highly recommend to anyone!!!

My 13 yr old daughter felt very well cared for and informed during her visit. She shared with me that she really appreciated how Dr.Patel treated her with respect during her appointment, explaining each step or procedure that she and her team performed. We are very grateful to have Dr.Patel in our community.

I was beyond impressed with Minted Dental! The office and exam rooms are very clean and modern. Extra protocols were taken for Covid-19. The staff and Dr. Patel were all so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Minted Dental.

First, let me say that if you are not as much of a germaphobe as I am, then you might be annoyed by some of the practices at Minted, because it does take extra time. For me, I was terrified to go to a new dentist during the pandemic situation and had been putting it off. I needed a good cleaning and a few things that I wanted checked out, so I finally got over my anxiety and went in for a new patient appointment.

Dr. Patel has a number of credentials, extra training above and beyond what most dentists do, teaches at the dental school in Mesa, and is president of the Central Arizona Dental Society. All of that is important and definitely inspires confidence. Serving on a professional society is a ton of work in giving back to your profession and says a lot about the dentist who volunteers his/her time to serve. The most important thing to me, as a patient, was that Dr. Patel and all the staff went out of the way to make me feel extremely comfortable.

Minted is very tech savvy and had me fill out new patient info online. It wasn't that cumbersome, and it enabled them to get the essential info in advance. I liked how that made everything contactless when I went in for the appointment.

Minted texted a reminder a few days before my appointment and the day of. If you are going there during COVID-19, be aware that you will need to call or text when you arrive, wait in the car until they are ready for you, and bring a mask with you. If you do need to sit in the waiting room for any reason, it is clean, quiet, and pleasant.

Makayla, at the front desk, is helpful and will answer any insurance/billing questions and general information, as well as give a tour of the office if you are a new patient.

Minted has a small handheld X-ray machine. Seemed a little easier and more comfortable than having that traditional big machine shoved against your face in awkward positions. Once X-rays were done, Devon (dental assistant) used a little camera used to take a bunch of regular photos inside my mouth. Very thorough. I've never had that done before!

I saw Natalie, the dental hygienist. Together, we viewed the photos on a big screen. Very eye opening! I thought I was doing a great job with brushing and flossing, but apparently not in some areas. One of the photos showed a bunch of staining behind my front teeth. It was very educational to see the photos and also to know that Minted will not be missing anything! The cleaning from Natalie was detailed. I could tell she really knew what she was doing. She was friendly and thorough. It was refreshing that Natalie genuinely wanted to know if I had any concerns before just telling me what she thought was a problem. She gave great explanations.

After the cleaning, my X-rays were reviewed on a big screen with Dr. Patel. She set aside at least 30 minutes to talk to me, review everything, and address any concerns. Dr. Patel was very friendly, and collaborative. She took the time to explain what she thought was going on with some problem areas that we discussed, and then presented possible treatment options. She also stated that I could take time to think about it, and it was totally up to me if/when I wanted to do anything about it as it didn’t appear to require urgency. No pressure! At the end of the exam, Dr. Patel asked me how my overall experience was and if I was more comfortable at the end of the appointment. I can definitely say that I was!

Needless to say, I was completely impressed with every aspect of this office. I normally hate going to the dentist and especially apprehensive to have someone in my mouth right now, but this office was over the top fantastic!

The appointment duration as a new patient is somewhat lengthy (~2 hours) and is something to keep in mind if you are on a tight schedule. However, they are very thorough, and in my opinion, it will be worth your time; just budget for it in your day.

This place was amazing ! Ever since covid started I’ve been extra cautious and been nervous about going out and have tried to avoid as much exposure as possible. This office was outstanding with the cleanliness and level of professionalism. The extra steps they have taken to adapt to our current situation is extremely reassuring. The front office girl I think her name is Makayla? Excelled at her job. From pre screening, following up and everything done in a timely manner. Dr.Patel and Devin were amazing. Devin has a calm presence when he took my x rays and the cleaning with Dr. Patel was done in a painless manner. In fact it felt like a massage for my teeth! Overall impressed and to say I’m looking forward for my next appointment is an understatement!
