89A Dental Care

New to the area. Researched for a dentist and found great reviews on 89ADental Care.

I was not disappointed. The visit was very sooth Kim did a great job cleaning and x-raying. She is very quick and efficient and friendly. Doctor Bennion was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. Great office they are up to date with all the latest equipment and process.

Dr Howden and his friendly capable staff make dental visits as pleasant as possible.
They are very competent and stand behind their work. I appreciate that they inform you of procedures as they are being performed. The entire office setting is very clean and comfortable.

I have never enjoyed going to the dentist and put it off for a very long time. My husband has been going to 89A for over a year now and always had positive things to say. I went with him to his last appointment and the front office staff greeted both of us by name when we walked in. I wasn't even a patient and I immediately felt welcomed. I asked if I could make an appointment thinking I would have to wait a long time, but they got me in the next week (it would have been sooner, but I couldn't make the first appointment offered). I was really nervous when I went in. I knew I would need some dental work done, but didn't know how I would get it done. Everyone was very polite and friendly while working and explaining. They made sure I completely understood what needed to be done and then gave me a printout with the things listed by priority level. The estimated prices were listed and they helped me sign up for care credit so I could afford what needed to be done. I'm not nervous about my next appointment because I know I will be welcomed and treated with care and respect the entire time I am there. Thanks 89A for helping me feel comfortable and making a dentist visit less scary!

I needed two adjacent teeth pulled. Above it says "Loved it"; not sure I would use that term but Dr. H and his crew made it not so bad. I'm kind of a funny guy in that there are one or two other places I'd rather be than in a dentist's chair but the staff makes it okay to be there. My wife has had some work done also and she didn't mind it. She'd put off her work for a very long time but found it was better being without the pain after the work was done. We both recommend this dentist and this office. The office is at the south side of the intersection of Viewpoint Drive and Hwy 89a--look for the old truck!

An addendum--my wife has had several appointments now also. She is also quite pleased with the care provided at this office. Most recently it was with Kim, the hygienist. The cleaning was very gentle and quickly done. There was a little something odd that needed attention so Dr. H stepped in and tweaked. We are very pleased with the whole deal.

Second addendum--just had a checkup and found I need no immediate work; just monitoring for the time being. My wife will need some work but there are other health issues to deal with first. Very pleased with the assistance provided by Dr. Howden and his staff at 89A.

Had my first visit this morning for a cleaning,x-rays and exam. The whole process was very pleasant from the gals at in the office, dental hygienist and dentist .Wow !, even got neat t shirt on the way out. The exam showed I had some dental issues and they were able to squeeze me in to take care of them on this mornings visit.
Their diagnostic equipment seems pretty modern. They were able to snap pictures of the areas that needed work and display them for me on a flat screen monitor. They then described the issues thoroughly with me so I could decide on what I wanted done.
I love their location, right off of 89A and Viewpoint in Prescott Valley, very convenient.
Great dental visit !.

The staff are friendly, efficient, and courteous. The Dental Hygienist, Tierney, cleaned my teeth and Dr Binnion, went over the results of my e-rays. Both clearly explained what was needed to be done and gave me options to consider. I am very happy with the team and look forward to a long relationship with them.

Great experience! I have had routine dental care with Dr. Howden as well as general cleanings with Kim... it's a relaxed atmosphere and they clearly explain all that they are doing. Great place to have your teeth cared for and very convenient location!

I had a great experience with 89A Dental Care. I am very anxious when it comes to dental work, but the staff and Dr. Bennion were very gentle and caring with me. They explained everything they were going to do before they started. They also gave me different options and explained the benefits of each procedure. They recommended me to an Oral Surgeon, who also was great. I am pleased with the entire staff, and will gladly recommend them to my family and friends.

I needed to find a new dentist because if a change in insurance and I could not have found a better dentist than Dr. Howden. He has great "bedside manner", but more importantly, is excellent at his craft. He never attempts to force treatment, but explains what work needs to be done in simple, understandable, and professional manner. His commitment to quality is also reflected in the staff he employs. A great importance to me is that they offer late afternoon appointments, so I do not need to miss work. They truly cater to their customers. I highly recommend Dr. Howden and his entire office staff.

The most pain free dental experience I have ever had! The entire staff was very friendly and helpful! Tierney, my dental hygienist, was amazing and very forgiving. Dr. Bennion was very thorough and explained everything.
