Smile Today - Dentist Scottsdale

The location is very nice. They have massaging chairs in the lobby for your wait. The staff was very kind, and the Dr. very nice and knowledgeable. Cleaning and exam went great.

Two things I didn't like: The open area concept in the work area. I'm used to an office setting for a little more privacy.

Also didn't like that the office assistant who got my quote for some dental work didn't submit a request to my insurance and just assumed they wouldn't accept certain claims. So she just quoted me some price that was negotiated with my insurance at some point in time. Would be nice to just make an effort of submitting without me having to ask.

Other than that it was a good experience so four stars from me for that reason.

This office was fast, friendly and straight to the point. They made me feel so comfortable and they performed the best and fastest cleaning I’ve ever had! They were also able to do fillings right away. I was so pleased with all the staff. The team work between them all is very strong and they are really there to support each other in order to give the customer the best experience. Highly recommend Smile Today!!!

I had HORRIBLE experiences as a kid with dentists. I have always been terrified to go since then which resulted in a lot of work needed recently. But smile today made sure to make me as comfortable as possible and talked me through everything. They were more than understanding of my nerves and made the experience great considering how much I needed done. I really appreciate the effort and care from Smile Today!

I actually enjoy going to this dentist office. The doctor has a quick wit and a good sense of humor. I like that. When they did my x-rays and showed me the photos on the screen, it was amazing. They blew up all of Photos, where you could see every little imperfection. I am definitely going to be getting some work done over time. Just had my teeth cleaned and everything was painless and thorough. My teeth are super white. State of the art. Give them a try.

Dr. Dawson and alix are amazing!! The staff are super helpful and awesome! Everyone is super nice and they make sure their patients are taken care of! I love this office!

I had the best experience here at Smile Today! Dr. Smith and his whole team were beyond helpful throughout the entire process. I needed some of my front crowns replaced (Which is a big project!) I was nervous about the procedure as well as the cost, but from the very beginning, Dr. Smith and the amazing front desk staff were so informative, and not pushy at all. They answered SO MANY of my questions and were patient with me the whole time. They offered me several options so that I could be comfortable with the method of payment. Dr. Smith was extremely accommodating in extending my original appointment time in order to complete everything I decided to have done with my teeth. My new crowns look beautiful and I couldn’t be happier! I am so grateful to the Smile Today team for the great experience and my new smile! :)

I was seen promptly for an abscesses wisdom teeth. Treatment plan was proposed, antibiotic was prescribed, and a tooth extraction was scheduled. Doctor and staff were very professional.

After my cleaning, the dentist reviewed my x-rays and determined what I kind of suspected in the way of the amount of dental work I required. I think it was Alex who did a good job of cleaning my teeth, and I didn’t really catch the dentist’s name, possibly Dr. Dawson, but I’m quite happy with the time I spent at Smile Today this morning.

I visited here a while back with a Groupon. I was told I had 5 cavities and a billing rep came in to try to get me to purchase their dental plan.. was actually a little pushy about it and telling me how much money I would save by opting in and it will be a better deal than anywhere else I went.

Because this was my first time there and I have always taken excellent care of my teeth, I had a feeling I should not jump at buying this expensive plan to get 5 fillings that I was not really believing I needed.

I visited a dentist later on and they took full xrays (and showed them to me, which this place did not) and to my surprise, my teeth are in perfect condition, no cavities. Perhaps they mixed my xrays up with someone else’s? Either way, I was amazed at this because cavities do not just disappear.

Perhaps this was an attempt to get extra money from a Groupon user and someone that did not have insurance at the time, but I would not recommend trusting this place or their recommended dental services and packages. I recommend getting a second opinion first.
