Having experienced many years of torture, incompetence, and mechanical practices at the hands of "dentists", A Caring Place is well named. It actually does what it says. The hygienist, Stephaniie, is not only skillful, she's sensitive to the patient and extremely kind--carefully explaining all procedures before they're being skillfully done .

And Dr. Walbom and "Pam" are an extraordinary combination that help relieve my anxiety at having crowns, cavities, and other procedures accomplished on my aging teeth that have suffered so many indignities in the past 8 decades.

Many thanks to all of the folks at "A Caring Place." I can't recommend you all enough for the great work you've done for me.

Dr. Walbom is a knowledgeable and talented dentist with wonderful bed-side-manners. He'll take as much time as you need to explain your dental needs and treatment. His staff is very professional and I've always been seen on time!

Having the same dentist for the past 20+ years back home in ND I felt quite apprehensive about going someplace new...Dr.Walbom and his entire staff were exceptional from the initial phone call! Exceptional compassion, patience, not to mention a confidence that comes from realizing your "team" has a vast knowledge and years of experience that also has your best interest in mind!! "A Caring Place Dentistry" is appropriately named, as they truly care for their patients' dental needs. All the employees are warm and friendly and treat you more like a family member than a client. I would highly recommend their services to anyone seeking dental care.

The office staff is always friendly and accommodating. I love my hygienist at Caring Place too. I know that I can get all my dental needs met with a smile.

This dental office has the latest tech to take care of your teeth! Several laser technologies mean no pain and better results. I think they are one of the only offices in the city that uses lasers for fillings and bacterial reduction.

This dental office has served my family for over 8 years and I couldn’t be more pleased with them from the front office to the hygienist and doctor, they are beyond professional and knowledgeable. Very honest people that will work their hardest to give you their best. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing dentist and staff. I was visiting Tucson and broke a crown. They were able to get me in immediately and replace the crown in one day. Dr Walbom is a conscientious and patient dentist. If I lived in the area, this would be my regular dentist.

I sent this in before but never saw it published, so I want to try again. Dr. Walbom is that good! In my particular case, I had a break on a molar that would have ordinarily been corrected through a root canal and then a traditional crown prep and then crown. However, my case was not to be so simple for Dr. Walbom. I’m a Vietnam Veteran who was in an Agent Orange area and veterans in my group have been coming down with both Leukemia (CLL) and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (SLL). I had just been through an extremely difficult year where my wife, with extreme COPD, required me as a full-time caretaker and I, typical of many caretakers like that, glossed over my own growing symptoms as just due to round-the-clock caretaker fatigue. Just before my wife passed away I was diagnosed with the two cancers and, being in Stage IV already it looked like maintenance chemo. However, I was admitted into a clinical trial at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and was soon on a strong path to what looks like remission. How does this relate to Dr. Walbom? My back molar literally fractured right down to the gum line and in traditional treatment required a root canal and long prep and ended with a crown. I soon discovered this was not a player because I could not take the required antibiotics needed for the treatment (because of a mitral valve surgical reconstruction) because it wouldn’t be possible with the chemo. Instead of throwing up his hands, Dr. Walbom immediately began formulating a work around that surprised my doctors. He worked around the issue by not doing a root canal but instead using a laser drill procedure for the extreme accuracy and patterns needed to prep the tooth for a crown to grip it with so little tooth material left above the gum line. He did just that with many hours in the chair requiring intense concentration and skills on his part. A crown was designed and cut using the latest electronic means and resulted in a perfect and tight fit in which I”be been able to have normal mouth movement and chewing actions. This is a dentist who has obviously NOT lost his enthusiasm for new procedures, updates with and use of very sophisticated electronic equipment, and an obvious continued drive for keeping up with the latest in dentistry and mastering it and a willingness to be creative in addressing difficult dental problems. This is a dentist that I have complete confidence in and regard for and I will continue to entrust my dental care to him.
