As a Snowbird in Arizona for the winter, I needed to find a dentist quickly to care for a broken tooth. Based on a friend's recommendation I called and was able to get in the same day at Desert Springs Family Dentistry — and they glued me back together. Yay!
I was happy with the visit. The office has a low-key, informal feel and everyone was very pleasant and friendly. Dr. Yasmer took a few minutes just to chat about my being a snowbird and her being a life-long Tucson resident, making it a very pleasant start. She listened actively and patiently as I explained the last couple years' issues in that corner of my mouth.
Her exam found the tooth loose as expected and she popped it off. She took the time to show it to me and let me ask lots of questions, so I now feel I've had the rare opportunity to see the inside of my regular Ohio dentist's last bit of work. Very cool.
For $97 (I don't carry dental insurance) I'm whole again. I asked for a "doctor-ese" report of what was found and done, and within two hours I received an email to forward to my Ohio dentist with her visit notes and x-ray.
So, although based on only one visit, and only for a fairly minor repair, I am happy to recommend Dr. Yasmer at Desert Springs Family Dentistry.

I was new to Tucson, and prior to coming here I had an extremely poor dental experience which caused permanent damage to three of my teeth.
Additionally, I had placed two dental implants just prior to moving to Tucson-and I was very concerned about the implants healing properly. As you can imagine, I was very apprehensive and nervous about choosing the right dentist. This office was not the first office I tried, however, after the first visit, I knew this was the right office for me. Dr. Burrows is amazing!
The staff is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and inviting. This is a top-notch office!

Desert Springs and their hygienist Chrisse made me super comfortable and made sure that I didn’t have any pain. I can say that my mouth feels 100% better since my cleaning and they made sure I would be back for my next cleaning. If you are someone who is apprehensive about the dentist, this is the place to go. I love this place! The girls at the desk are so kind and attentive. I recently got Luminners after getting a crown and teeth cleaning. I have never been to a Dentist that was so gental with me. Dr. Tony always talks with you during the process. He made me so comfortable. He's is the most caring Dentist I've ever had. I can't say enough good things. I have not been to the Dentist in a VERY long time. I went to Desert a Spring’s for a check up and cleaning and was prepared for a lecture about going to the dentist. Let me say, I Love this place! Dr. Yazmin and her two Techs were amazing! I never got the lecture, I do have to have work done but I’m not nervous at all about doing it and I will stay on top of visits going forward!
