I went here because I was having pain on a back tooth (I suffer from sensitive teeth which I informed the doctor). I don’t have insurance and I was told that I needed a root canal and was given a price of $4,200 for the root canal or $1,200 for an extraction. When the doctor left the room I heard him tell the assistant “I just don’t see anything on the root”. At the time I didn’t know if he was talking about me but to make sure I went to Dedicated Dental and after X-rays I was told that all I needed was to remove an old filling and do a new one. It was done in under an hour for only $270. It’s been 10 days and I am pain free.DON’T TRUST TUCSON SPECTRUM DENTISTRY!!!!!!

I would highly recommend Tucson Spectrum Dentistry! I went in for a routine cleaning and let them know that I had a tooth ache. They determined I might need a root canal and gave me the itemized cost (discounted). They also told me that if they went in and found that a root canal was not needed that they would just take care of the cavity and crown it. Dentist, Dr Roberts was gentle and explained everything in detail, and NO root canal needed! From the receptionists Yailenne and Lupita at the front desk to the X-ray techs and assistants, they were all pleasant and welcoming. Joseph did my crown and he was amazing. Thank you!

My experience at Tucson Spectrum Dentistry was pretty amazing! I went in yesterday and today for some work done.
I was helped by Estefani and Joseph(he helped with whitening and fillings), they made me feel comfortable, addressed my concerns and were so informative ative with everything going on. They really made me feel like I was in good hands and explained what were the next steps in the procedures and made sure I was alright.
Yailenne went over all the costs with me and made setting up future appointments for cleanings n some other stuff a breeze! She gave me options on how to pay for the treatments and went over all the options with me.
I had a deep cleaning done by Viri and can I just say she did n outstanding job! I can taste in 4K hahaha no but for reals though she really did an amazing job!
My doctor who oversaw everything, went over my options n what we were going to do was Dr Malcolm. I know why he is a doctor now! He fixed my chipped tooth n it looks like I didn’t even have a chipped tooth! Shoutout to Estefani for letting me know about that as n option as well! Good looking out. Dr Malcolm and Joseph did my fillings n chipped tooth and man they were fast, attentive, knew exactly what they were doing and explained everything for me, and really did an excellent job!
All in all I would def recommend coming here! 5/5

As a new, first time patient, I scheduled an appointment for a teeth cleaning. I had not had a cleaning for a couple of years due to the pandemic as well as having three members of my family with auto immune diseases. When I made the appointment I specified that I did not want x-rays. At that point they did not tell me that they would not do a cleaning without x-rays. When I arrived at my appointment I reiterated that I did not want x-rays. When they took me back to the operatory they set about preparing to do x-rays!!!
Once again I explained that I did not want x-rays (this being due to a personal health issue). They then refused to do the cleaning explaining that without x-rays, they could not bill my insurance company for the work I would be needing, and proceeded to usher me out of the office.
I was a dental assistant for many years and I understand the value of having x-rays. I also understand the value, from their prospective of billing my insurance for all of the dental work they were going to recommend I come back for.
I am having no mouth pain, no broken teeth, no gum disease, no broken fillings. I just wanted a teeth cleaning! Clearly they were looking to get more out of me than I can afford and I was happy to leave. I am also happy to leave this review for those in a similar situation. Tucson Spectrum Dentistry is not concerned about your teeth or your health, they are out to make a buck from your insurance company . . . and you!

I was pleasantly surprised with Tucson Spectrum Dentistry. It was the most thorough exam I've ever had. Everyone was professional and informative. My plan of care was explained to me at each step with clear information about costs of service. I was impressed with the technology they used for taking pictures of my teeth and my teeth cleaning. Highly recommend.

It was my first time coming to Tucson Spectrum Dentisrty. I was real happy with the information they gave me about the dental work I needed and they also help set up a payment plan fast and easy. Dr Robert's was awesome and answered I'll my question and Angelica the dental assistant that but my crown in was very polite and made you fill comfortable. I would recommend going to Tucson Spectrum Dentistry if you need dental work done and one more thing the 2 ladies in the front office where very polite as well.
