It's ALWAYS a pleasant experience at Cantrell West Dental - ALWAYS! As soon as I swing open the door to enter, I'm greeted with a warm smile and HELLO. The team is extremely kind, helpful and understanding. They know how to CALM your nerves before and during your procedure (Donna is the BEST nerve calmer EVER!) (During my last cleaning, my Hygenist Lucy made me laugh until I cried literal tears!) We had SO MUCH fun together! I've become friends with the team - that says a lot about the type of care you receive.
Dr. Deems is the BEST hands down. He was NOT in my network initially. But, I was determined to still be his patient, because he is that special. I've always been intimidated and afraid of dentists. I've had several dental procedures done by Dr. Deems over the last 10 years - NOT ONE LEFT ME IN PAIN (even hours after I got home)! INCREDIBLE!! Dr. Deems is HIGHLY experienced, precise with his work and super knowledgeable!! He possesses many terrific attributes. But, my "WHY" for being willing to pay out of pocket to be his patient (remember, he was out of network for me)...is Dr. Deems CARES!!! He explains the procedures thoroughly. He answers your questions patiently. He listens. He takes his time to explain your next steps at home. He gives you an actionable GAME PLAN to win with your oral health!
Plus, Dr. Deems is personable and has a great sense of humor! He makes your time in his chair FUN! However, what I admire about him MOST is his genuine concern for his patients. (He will personally CALL YOU AT HOME "after he has worked all day" to ensure you are doing well after your procedure.) He has called to check on me "after hours" each time I've had a procedure/oral surgery!! Who does that? There are tons of skilled Dentists in Central Arkansas, I'm sure of it. However, I'm willing to bet that list is VERY short if you're searching for skill + compassion + good spirits + genuine care and appreciation for every patient. ❤️

Dr Deems is totally dedicated to serving his patients. He handles emergencies immediately and is available and accommodating to his patients schedule. He is capable of handling all types of dental problems! Dr. Deems has been my dentist for the past 25 years and thankfully saved my teeth. My previous dentist suggested not doing anything do to an overbite that had worn down my front teeth; except using them until they wore down and then getting false dentures! Dr Deems suggested that they could be capped and even created a mold to show me how he would solve the problem!
