I have been associated with this Dental office for more than 10 years. The staff and care are awesome, and I have never had a bad experience or a long wait. The quality of care and treatment is far above any that I ever experienced in a dental office. Every effort is made to attend to the patient with comfort and thoroughness and professionality. My husband was a patient too, and he had profound anxiety with "going to the dentist". They worked so confidently with him, and supportively that I was astounded. Dr. and staff were very nice and friendly. I didn't have a dentist prior to this because I have always been terrified of the Dentist, but I felt calm and not as scared as I thought I would be. I have an appt soon for deep cleaning I will update after the appt.

The dentists and hygienists do a great job on cleaning and reviewing your oral health. High tech equipment for x-rays and screenings, and diligent but gentle cleanings.
The reception and billing members do well to schedule you and anyone in your family on the same day, and help A LOT with dealing with insurance (because of course insurance is difficult).
They only take a few types of insurance, such as Delta Dental Premier. These insurances cost a bit more than HMO plans and our insurance still causes the same bit of a hassle during billing as our prior plan, but switching to them was worth being seen by the Chico Dental Arts.
Update September 2020: Chico Dental Arts is using many mitigation techniques to reduce risk of infection during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as plastic shields at the counters, hand sanitizer, a special mouth rinse at the beginning of the cleaning, a special machine to filter the air you breathe out during the cleaning, PPE for all their staff, hygienists and dentists, and restriction of items and procedures that can cause respiratory droplets to aerosol. They are doing everything they can to keep their clients and themselves safe.
