He is a strong believer in preventative dentistry, which I appreciate! He treats his staff with so much respect and is truly a kind hearted person. I have known Dr Janis even before he moved to Concord. Once, I was going to Hawaii on a trip and broke my upper left first molar. Dr Janis did an onlay for me and the lab was very quick. He cemented it on time for my trip and I was happy because it was tooth colored and matched perfectly. Later I found out that it was extra special because Dr Janis did an onlay for me, not a crown, and therefore was able to save much of my original enamel instead of drilling it. I know that not every tooth is eligible for such great treatment but I'm sure happy he did that for me. Dr. Janis told me recently that it is his preferred technique to drill away the least possible tooth to do the job. So, I feel good about recommending him.

On my first visit, Dr Janis was completely pleasant, non-judgmental, just went in and saw the cavities that I had, and then talked through the steps for getting them filled and preventing some additional trouble spots from turning into cavities. Several years later, I'm a regular and haven't had a single additional cavity!
