I visited this dentistry a few months ago and I was really shocked at my experience. I had just moved to LA and so I booked a check up appointment which included x-rays. I was attracted to the practise because of the really affordable price. After my consultation, I was informed that I had 6 cavities and my bill to fix them was going to be $2800. I was really shocked and confused because I have always had strong and healthy teeth and I had been to a dentist a little over a year before with no sign of any cavities. I decided to get a second opinion at another dentist and to my horror, I had no cavities at all. I am truly horrified at how El Segundo Modern Dentistry was clearly taking advantage of my and it scares me to think of what they were planning to do to my healthy teeth in order to "fix" something that was never there. The quality of service and ethics is clearly reflected in the low consultation price. I just wanted to warn anyone planning to use this dentist to get a second opinion or better yet to rather pay more money for another dentist to avoid being scammed here.

I wish I could give zero stars. Don’t go here. The worst dental experience I’ve ever had. Their office is filthy. They don’t do proper dental hygiene procedures like dental scaling. They just offered a polish, which isn’t the same thing. The receptionist told me I didn’t need scaling because I had no build-up, but that my cavities has grown from last time. How is that possible that I didn’t need a cleaning and also that my cavities grew?

This team is just lovely; always kind and warm, very professional. My dentist, Dr. Serghei Petcu, takes his time to ensure his work is done right and explains with detail exactly what he’s going to do. Shout out to Eddie for his warm presence and attentive help through the whole appointment.

I had an emergency dental need and the staff were able to see me right away. They were friendly, efficient and relaxed. I felt their service was excellent. I also like that they are close to my work. I need major dental surgery and will go to my usual doctor in Burbank but that is no reflection on their doctors. I just feel more comfortable seeing my usual doctors. I liked their Xray machine! I will use them as a backup.

Love this dentist ! I've been at this dentist for a year,every single time I come it is efficient because they are well organized so they see the patience as they are schedule. For us patients that is very convenient because no one wants to wait at the dentist. When I call to make an appointment they always have times that work for me. I can't forget to mention that everyone that works at this office is really friendly and well coordinated that work as a team. I highly recommend this dentist! ;)

I had two extractions, 3 fillings and a deep cleaning and I am do grateful that I came here. Great staff! Great experience! Neda my Dentist and Marina my Dental Hygienist have the softest hands.. I was terrified of anesthesia but they made sure that I was at ease the whole time.
