I am the poster child for being afraid of dentists after a bad experience with a dentist over 10 years ago. So when I finally found the courage to go to a dentist, this one was recommended to me. After explaining my history with dentists to them and being very uncomfortable and on the verge of having an anxiety attack, this staff was very patient with me. They gave me a warm blanket, soothing talks and tissues to dry my tears as I went through the dental procedure. They even sent me a SIGNED birthday card from the entire staff.

Love, LOve, LOVE this office! The each member of the staff is friendly and welcoming that the “scary dentist” stigma is completely forgotten about. It’s like a party everytime i go except instead of hugging porcelain by the end of the night, my smile is china doll porcelain white. Now, some of you will get that and some of you won’t but either way, I LOVE DOWNTOWN DENTAL.

Love Downtown Dental!! Went in with pain thinking I had something stuck between my gums on my wisdom tooth. One of their hygienist, Allie, saw me and asked where I thought I had something stuck; she told me she saw nothing stuck there. Dr. Mungcal came in checked my teeth and told me my wisdoms needed to come out. I got really nervous and didn't want to get them out. With Allie's numbing I felt nothing, and the procedure was so quick I was surprised when Dr. said all done. I really love this place and recommend it to everyone.

I went here for a cleaning. The hygienist said I needed a deep cleaning and had a cavity. I said I only wanted a regular cleaning. Her words: "Do you want me to get the doctor?" Patronizing, like she was asking if I wanted to see the principal.
The doctor came in, and the first thing he said was "Well, the good news is no cavities." So that got my distrust meter spiking. He also tried to convince me that a deep cleaning was necessary, and when I refused, he said he would not give me a regular cleaning.
So, I left with only my time wasted, thankfully not my money. There seem to be quite a few dentists out there who are pulling this stunt. If you go in for a cleaning without any discomfort, then it is unlikely that more intensive treatment is necessary.

Great experience with good availability. Had old amalgams fillings re-done, deep cleaning, and periogel tray made. My occlusion feels very similar to as it did before despite the volume of work requisite. Went in today for a cleaning with my favorite dental hygienist, Priyam. I have sensitive teeth, so if the hygienist doesn't get that, I'm in agony. Priyam understands my concerns, and provides excellent service and dental care every time I see her, and that makes me very happy!!
