I have nothing but great things to say about Little Tokyo Dental Group. I have referred 3 people to this practice so far.

First off, the receptionists are so great. Their scheduling and dealing with my insurance is on point. They always make sure to remind me about my appointment and I honestly don't think I've ever encountered such kind and efficient receptionist until them.

I've had so many bad experiences with dentists since I moved to LA 6 years ago. They never want to deal with my more urgent existing issues and just wants to go ahead and do as many cosmetic procedures as they can on me. Dr. Fukui is different, she created a plan for my overall dental health and is also conscious about my comfortability throughout. She also referred me to a really great endodontist, Dr. Min, who did my root canal treatment in a breeze.

The dental assistants and hygienist are also so great! Them, together with Dr. Fukui, gave me so much information on dental health and hygiene.

Overall, my experience with them is nothing but great. I'm surprisingly looking forward to the next time I would be in the office. Never thought I'd say that!

I love this place so much!! The staff is amazing!! The front desk receptionist are so helpful! They never forget to validate my parking! The dental assistants are really sweet and my doctor is great! Dr.Fukui makes me feel so comfortable and she finished my root canal in such a timely manner!! She gives the best advice for aftercare and I can’t thank her and her wonderful staff enough for such a phenomenal experience!! I would give little Tokyo Dental 10 stars if could!!

SIMPLY THE BEST! I've been to several dentists during my 25 years here in LA, and have to say, Dr. Alice Fukui and staff are HANDS DOWN, the most caring group of people in the dental business. No comparison!

From the front desk personnel to the dental assistance and hygienists, these people are on point. Pleasant, safe, and professional.

I have some pretty serious teeth issues and Dr. Fukui always takes the time to explain absolutely everything. She's never rushed, never impatient, and always comforting. Whether you need a simple cleaning or something more involved, this is your place... I highly recommend Little Tokyo Dental Group!

I've received nothing but great care and professional, friendly service from Little Tokyo Dental Group. My family and I have been going here since I was a child and I could not imagine going to any other place - so much so that I come back for cleanings even though I live nowhere close to the area or have dental insurance coverage. I always feel comfortable and at ease during every visit - I highly recommend LTDG and am very quick to recommend them to anyone looking for dental care.

(No relation to Dr. Fukui) I was terrified of the dentist due to a bad experience with another office, which kept me from visiting the dentist for years. I was referred to Little Tokyo Dental Group by a family member who is also afraid of the dentist. My first visit was one of the most pleasant experiences at a dentist I've ever had. The office is beautiful and every single staff member was kind, welcoming, and patient. Because I hadn't been in so long, my teeth required cleanings in sections and I was very nervous. Jojo cleaned my teeth and was SO gentle and thorough, and she read my body language perfectly. After multiple cleanings over 2 months, my gums and teeth improved drastically and I can now visit the dentist at the normal 6 month increments. If you are nervous or hesitant about the dentist, TRY THEM OUT!

Good people and great dentists. My hygienist for cleaning was super gentle even tho it’s been awhile since I got last cleaning. Made my teeth feel very nice!

Just had my appointment cancelled for being 15 minutes late. I called to tell them I was stuck in traffic, the receptionist said it was fine, but I got a call back a minute later saying they didn't want to rush or inconvenience me (read: we don't want to wait for you) so they cancelled my appointment. I really liked this place, too bad.

I had even come in last year to help them fix this google local maps listing as it had said that their office was closed and out of business. I thought my help would afford me being a few minutes late.

Old review: Dr Kanai and his staff are (were) the best! Great convenient location in Little Tokyo right near Downtown. Modern and Comfortable office. I walked right in off the street and they squeezed me in for an appointment! As a first time customer I had to get my x-rays done first and come back another time for a cleaning, but I got lucky and Dr Kanai and his staff made an exception for me as they had something open up right after my appointment.

Highly recommend Little Tokyo Dental Group. Dentist and staff are friendly, caring and do not keep you waiting. Office is clean and peaceful like a spa.

I had a great experience with Little Tokyo Dental Group. I saw Dr. Fukui for Invisalign treatment and from start to finish the process was easy, straightforward, and painless. Dr. Fukui's bedside manner is awesome - she always took the time to explain every aspect to me and I was given very clear expectations about the treatment. It's obvious she cares about her patients and loves her work. Thank you!

Can’t thank enough Dr Fukui for taking care of me. Dental offices are never fun but this office is very warming starting with her staff and Dr Fukui. She made sure I was okay throughout my appointment. She’s explained everything to the core and is thorough which I appreciate. A perk to this office, they offer complimentary parking.
