Doctor Strandburg is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever had. This is coming from someone that is scared of dentists and more importantly scared of needles. He’s delicate, patient, and caring. It also probably helps that you get to zone out and watch Netflix on the TV they have mounted on the ceiling above your dental chair.

I’ve had to have a significant amount of dental work done in the last two years so I’ve been there just about every other month to chip away at it. I couldn’t recommend a dentist more then him and the whole staff there. Everyone is SO nice and helpful there. It’s also very clean, and they take safety precautions for Covid so it makes me feel safe.

Had such a great experience at the Mar Vista office! I went to their office on a Saturday (yes, they are open on Saturdays for us Monday-Friday Workers!!), the facility is brand new and super modern but also very cozy. As someone who isn't typically comfortable going to the dentist, Dr. Strandburg made me feel very welcomed and relaxed. You can tell a lot of thought went into this office from the little kids area, the incredibly comfy dental chairs (uh, where do I get one for my living room??), the ceiling TVs with all the shows you could ask for (great distraction) and the cool/modern vibe. Not to mention the fact that my cleaning was excellent! Would highly recommend Dr. Strandburg and his team!!

From the very beginning, All that work there make you feel important and respected. Dr. Standburg is so kind, smart, and Professional! His knowledge helped with making a life altering change regarding my dental health. I highly recommend Vision Dental Mar Vista.

I’ve been going to Dr. Strandburg for about a year now. He’s very attentive and makes sure you are comfortable. He likes to explain everything as he is doing it and points out things that we need to watch and/or take care of. The office (Santa Monica office) is very clean and pleasant. My teeth are in better shape since switching to him. I would highly recommend Dr. Strandburg!

I love this office!!! I am not big on going to the dentist, but this office made me feel at home. The staff is wonderful and Dr Cheng and Dr Garcia made it clear that they care about me. They are both kind and knowledgeable and I felt at ease while there. The office is super nice, very clean, comfortable, and they offer state of the art dentistry same day dentistry which is nice with my busy work schedule. They are very conveniently located with tons of free parking. I have already recommended this office to several friends.

I have a big cavity in my front teeth and went to three dentists for treatment plans. Dr. Garcia is the only one provided with a conservative plan: filling, rather than veneers or crowns. (I got two veneer plans from other dentists). Veneers look better but are much more pricey and need to have your real teeth carved. Dr. Garcia examined my teeth carefully, considered my chewing and grinding habits, and decided to keep my real teeth as much as possible and just do filling for the cavity. He really thinks from the point of the patient and is really trustworthy.

I also did a deep cleaning at Vision Dental. Christine is my hygienist. She is very professional and caring. She rubbed my muscle while conducting anesthesia injection and talked to me to distract from the very minor pain. She also kindly informed me when there will be water or high-pitched sound. She is great.

Lastly, my first visit to there is just for a treatment consultation. The front desk guy mentioned I could bring my X-ray picture there and save some money, which is something I didn't know before. They also didn't charge me anything for the consultation.

In a word, this is a place I will stick with for future dental check.

I have only great things to say about Dr. Nicole Cheng and Vision Dental office. Very professional and friendly.

The office changed my view on dentistry. The people, who are working here, are professional and so kind. It’s easy to make an appointment, get an appointment reminder or switch the day of your visiting.

Dr. Chris and his team at Vision Dental, Mar Vista are fantastic. They’re all super friendly, professional and ready to see you when you arrive for your appointment. Whether looking for routine dental care, cosmetic dental work, and/or other dental services, Dr. Chris and his team are great and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Dr. Chris to anyone!

This place is great! I’ve been looking for a new dentist for literally years and I finally found it! (I’ve lived out of state for 13+ years and would go to my hometown dentist until he finally retired 2 years ago). They don’t take insurance (they will bill them a certain amount as an “out of network dentist” but you still have to pay some out of pocket). We opted not to get Insurance and it’s really been affordable, moreso than I expected. Other benefits: Vision Dental is a block up the street from me, it’s brand spanking new so feels super clean, and they have the latest equipment across the board. I love that you can watch tv on the ceiling while they work. I also had some fillings done and they followed up after my visit to make sure everything was going well. Cannot express enough how thankful I am to finally have found a great dentist!
