Dr. May is wonderful. I came to him about a year ago through a recommendation of someone that experienced similar symptoms I had. I came to Dr. May with soreness in my jaw, horrible headaches/migraines and pain up and down the side of my temple. We spoke for a good length of time, he did an exam and asked me a lot of questions. From our conversation he concluded I clench my teeth, and it caused jaw pain as well as the migraines. To relieve my immediate stress, he made me a "daytime" mouthguard to wear not only at night, but during the day. He then had a thicker nighttime guard made as well that I got a week or so later.
A few weeks ago I broke my daytime guard, from clenching too much, and after not wearing my nighttime guard due to travel -- I started to get migraines and jaw tenderness again. I again went to see Dr. May, and he made me a brand new daytime guard right on the spot.
Dr. May truly cares about his patients and wants to help. Many don't believe that grinding and clenching can be a reason for migraines and other symptoms. I am proof that what Dr. May is practicing not only works, but is better for the health of your teeth. I highly recommend Dr. May.
