Been getting my cleanings here for a couple years with no complaints. Just had my first filling in 5 years and it went smoothly. Working with them on possibly getting braces. I like that they take the time to explain the situation in a way I understand so I can make an informed decision. They've also kept me on track with what brushing habits are going well and which need to be improved. My last two visits have been "exemplary" because of this (the cavity, if you were wondering, was a long time coming; hovering on the cusp of should-it-be-drilled).

I have Cigna dental which is out-of-network. I wish the front desk made it more clear I was out-of-network before scheduling my appointment.
If you're out-of-network your insurance will only cover an allowable amount per service.
In my case Cigna only covers $240 for a filling. Laurel charges $364.80 for a non-silver filling. With my deductible I had to pay $193.80 for this filling.
Cleanings have allowable amounts as well.
Laurel charges:
oral evaluation - $174
xrays - $260.40
cleaning - $178.80
Cigna only covers:
oral evaluation - $150
xrays - $210
cleaning - $140
I had to pay $113.20 for the consultation and cleaning and $193.80 for the filling. $307 in total.
$307 is a lot for a cleaning and 1 filing. Laurel Dentistry is great, but make sure you're in network. If you're not, be very careful. It might be more than you think. I'd also recommend asking for a pre check of the cost of service even before a cleaning.

No issues with the dental care. However their front office is a problem. I received services from them in 2015-2017. I never received a bill for the two years we used them and just assumed my dental insurance covered it all. Then we moved away and almost 3 years later they submitted bills to credit agency for collection and hurt my before that perfect credit score. They never tried contacting me about any of this or checking we received the bill. They had my number and my e-mail as they kept contacting us to schedule follow up appointments after we moved.
I'd avoid this place. Plenty of dentists out there and no need to risk your credit score.

Cash customers: They have you pay the full balance for the procedure up-front and then send you another bill later. That second bill was never discussed or approved. Super scam.
