There is not enough stars!!!! I have a horrible fear of the dentist. So bad that I neglected my teeth for years to the point of terrible decay. For the first time in almost 30 years I am able to go have work done and not be terrified! His shots DO NOT HURT!!!! Him and his staff take such care to make sure your needs are being met whether it be anxiety or pain. I cannot say enough nice things. His front office staff are also kind, considerate and so HELPFUL with meeting you insurance/financial needs. I LOVE ALL OF THEM!!!!

I travel over three hours just to see this amazing dentist in Oroville, CA. Dr Appel is gentle, listens, and always makes sure I understand what we are doing. I love my teeth whitening! I am not easy to numb, and in fact have had lots of procedures done without any Novocain at all starting at a young age.Just got to be “normal”. Dr Appel has went out of his way to make this pain free. He didn’t need to, and it took some time and trials but he did.
