New Essence Dentistry

Let me start off by saying that I have the worst fear of the dentist, I get a lot of anxiety because of horrible past experiences with pain and with Dentists trying to rush/get me out of the office, which is why I have avoided it for the past several years.
But this office, New Essence Dentistry, right from the beginning showed so much care and support. The amount of professionalism between email and phone correspondence, as well as detail, made me feel reassured. Before I came in for my appointment, I had to reschedule several times to work with my work schedule and Victor was so accommodating and reassuring that it was no trouble. He was able to get my new insurance all set up BEFORE I came in and let me know what my fees would be so I knew exactly what to expect.
The morning of my appointment I was the first patient to arrive and there was Victor, who recognized me and greeted me by my name. The whole office was so inviting and warm, unlike my previous awful experiences with places like Western Dental. While I was filling out a form and waiting to be called back, Victor made sure if I needed anything that I was accommodated and after a few minutes, Jayla called me back.
Jayla immediately comforted me and said she understood my nerves, talked to me about my fears and in detail explained what would be happening throughout the appointment. Offered me a blanket and a hand to hold if I was shaky and scared. I have never experienced a dentist office where the staff genuinely wants to make sure you feel comfortable and safe. She did all my xrays and scans and let me know Dr. Winslow would be in to talk about my goals for my teeth and how we could move forward to a healthy smile.
Dr. Winslow came in and we talked about my fears, goals and what I should expect for the remainder of the appointment. He checked out my teeth, talked me through exactly everything he was doing so I wouldn't be nervous, all while Jayla was a comforting hand on my shoulder throughout. I noticed that my grip on the seat from nerves soon relaxed and I didn't feel scared. He was so gentle and always made sure I wasn't in pain or discomfort.
I had my teeth checked, cleaned and next appointment set up for the work I need done. Left with a goody bag and a comfort that I have never felt before while leaving a dentist office. This staff is AMAZING and I would recommend any individual with a horrible fear that this family&staff will make sure you feel at ease.
I finally feel like I can go into my next appointment for dental work and know that the staff working on me cares and wants to make sure I do not feel pain. If I could give 10 starts I would!! I love New Essence Dentistry!!

Everyone is very nice and there is good customer service. That being said, I love going to the dentist but the dental hygienist that I got at my last appointment did not give me a good experience. She used too much water and I ended up choking. I have a few sensitive areas that she was very rough on that caused pain. To her credit she did not know, but if you see a low gum line in an area I think you might be able to deduce. While flossing she pulled the floss through my permanent retainer so hard I thought it was going to pull the retainer out. She also jammed her finger in my throat while flossing. So again, not a good experience. I will not be coming back.

Great environment! Very welcoming, highly recommended, the staff is very professional and makes you feel welcomed from the minute you walk in, from the Dentist himself to his assistant to the front clerk so thankful I finally found a great dentist for me and my little family

Nice environment who work efficiently and respect their patients.

It took an entire afternoon to go in for a cleaning and exam. My appointment was at 2:30 and I didn't leave until 4:30. Most of that time was sitting and waiting. The staff was friendly but I didn't feel like everyone was on the same page. I haven't kept up with dental appointments for many years due to lack of insurance and ended up walking out of the office feeling bad about that fact. This kind of treatment really makes me want to find another office.

The dentist was great, dental assistance dont respect patients privacy.

Dr. Winslow and his team are fantastic. Everytime I go there, I know I am getting great service. The team is very open and honest with their care. I recommend them to anyone. I been going to this location for years!

Great dental cleaning, great service, Victor( front desk agent) is very helpful, he knows everything about teeth. Go to this place with all our family. Highly recommend it!

The dentist, Dr. Winslow is efficent & extremely knowledgeable and his front desk staff Victor and the crew are dynamite! I recommend them to everyone who has any dental needs.
