Poor service and coordination of care. Waited 1 hour for scheduled dental cleaning and the dental hygienist never showed up. Recommend going elsewhere for dental care.

I am very suspicious of this office, do not believe them to be trustworthy. And FYI, they tried their best to convince me that I needed a deep cleaning, and also stated they would have to consider if they were able to just do a routine cleaning, after consideration they did. I have regular visits with my ortho who advised me they were trying to up sale to me, I did not need a deep cleaning. I have always been complemented by dental professionals for my oral hygiene all my life, however I was not shocked with their approach, they did the same thing the year before. Providers do great work, but management is horrible and they rip you off.

I've gone to this dentist for 6 month cleanings for a few years now. It's been ok but this time I felt a little uneasy about what was going on. Normally I'm in and out within 45 minutes for cleaning and xray. This time 1 hour and half. They had me go in to wait for x-rays after 20 min that happened. The girl almost entered in wrong info on my blood pressure. Then waited again just to get teeth polishing by another person. Finally after waiting another 15 minutes or so the dentist comes in to clean my teeth. The water jet was getting water on my neck and then the fluoride she brushed on quickly. She then said oh you planned a new crown with the last dentist. I'm like no one planned a crown it was recommended. At this point I am thinking of looking for a new dentist.

Stay away! They lie! Several months ago I went in for regular check up and was told I had 3 cavities and several more about to form. I was a little surprised but I believed them because I have had cavities fixed before, also by American dentists. It’s $300+ to fix one cavity so I decided to wait and figure out how I was going to pay almost $1,000 for this. I decided to wait several months until I went back to Europe in the summer (I’m a dual citizen) bc it would be cheaper there. When at the dentist in Sweden, they tell me I have nice teeth without ANY cavities or any that seem on the way. The dentist at mission valley dentist had lied to me. Makes me wonder if my past cavities were ever real.
This is the first time I write a review on google, I just want people to be cautious. I feel like I was being scammed? It’s not weird they say you have 3 cavities when they charge $300 to fix one ?
