Dr. Westwood is the best dentist in San Diego and I am glad that I found him! The last time that I could say that I liked going to the dentist is when I was a kid/teenager. I am originally from a small town and had the same dentist from childhood through high school. Dr. Westwood reminds me of a small town dentist who truly cares about the health of your teeth. I cannot remember the last time that the actual dentist cleaned my teeth. Most dentist offices that I have visited in SD have the dental assistant perform the cleaning, but Dr. Westwood does the exam, cleaning and any required dental work. I also love the fact that this also a family business. I would recommend Westwood Family Dentistry to people seeking a great dentist.

By far the best dental office I've ever been to. I am quite nervous about dentistry, my teeth are in a bad way and the staff and Mr. Westwood made me feel so welcome and wanted. When going in on my first visit they cleaned my teeth to a standard I didn't know possible, were honest about the circumstances of my teeth, alongside being understanding of how we got there.
I felt cared for in a unique way that I think is not always present in our society anymore. I used to feel scared of what was coming, but now I feel optimistic and ready. 5 stars is not enough.
