I am so glad a friend referred me to Dr. Woodlief. I've been concerned with mt TMJ and my jaw is out of alignment due to a break I had a few years ago. I’ve been a patient of Advanced Dentistry by Design for over 5 years, when I had just started my research about my jaw health. I immediately felt understood here, and connected with all the doctors and staff. I won’t let anyone but Erin do my cleanings. She is gentle and thorough. If you have any fear or hesitation, this office will listen and be as accommodating as possible. My case is complicated and my teeth are super sensitive, but I still look forward to each appointment. I now have both my kids seen here because not only do I need to make sure their teeth are healthy, but that any necessary treatments to help guide their proper jaw development are not overlooked. Dr Woodlief and Dr Khouri are trained to look at the whole picture. I’m always impressed to hear them pursuing unique continuing education courses that help them stay up to date on the latest research. Seriously the best place in the Bay Area for your dental needs!

Dr. Woodlief is an excellent orthopedic surgeon who's extremely knowledgeable. he also has a great personality and that goes a long way with me. I look forward to starting treatment with him.
Secondly, I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed from another orthopedic surgeon which wasn't healing. Dr. Woodlief had me come in, he cleaned the socket, packed it, and sent me on my way. The first surgeon should have done this and I'll never go back to their establishment again. Dr. Woodlief is the best of the best!

Dr Woodlife takes a holistic approach to your tmj issues and is very knowledgeable. This is based on the initial analysis he did on my Tmj problem , which was causing ear ringing.

Great place. Doctor Khouri and Erin were great and gentle. I had jaw pain so couldn’t open my mouth fully. They were patient throughout the procedure and took extra care of my jaw pain while cleaning and fixing my teeth.

Exceptional staff, take pains to explain each step of any procedure, Dr. Khouri is pleasant and careful and extremely aware of patient comfort, Erin is a fantastic hygienist with a gentle touch and teaches without lecturing. All in all, best in class for dental services in my experience.

Dr Khouri makes me feel like I am in good hands as she is very professional as well as personable. She explains what she is doing as she works on me which is exactly the opposite of my last dentist who just talked to me about what she is up to in her life as I struggled to figure out what her and her team were doing. I had a veneer fall out that my last dentist installed and I got an appt right away to get it back in place which is comforting as I have a suspicion this will happen again given my last dentist’s track record with using adhesives. That dentist put much of her efforts in advertising, image and pushing dental work that I now regret like the veneers that took 10 months to get almost close to my natural teeth color. I am driving from Gilroy to her office as opposed to my last dentist who was just 2 miles from my home. Dr. Woodlief is another reason I make the drive as he has helped me tremendously with my sleep apnea with a high quality oral appliance and laser treatments. Wonderful staff as well!
