Dr. Shir inspires terrific confidence in the dental chair. I had to see her on short notice during a business trip to Santa Monica -- some of my colleagues are regular patients of hers -- because of a loose temporary crown and some infection. I liked how she and her team quickly assessed the situation and dealt it. And with great charisma!

I have been going to Dr. Shir for about a year now, and I have to say she is one of the best dentists I have ever been to. When I was younger, I was diagnosed with TMJ. I had oral surgery to correct most of the problem and went through years of orthodontia to correct some other things too. Unfortunately, I was in a car accident a little over a year ago, which caused some of my TMJ to begin flaring up again. I read that Dr. Shir was a master at oral therapy from a friend. I have not been disappointed. Actually, I haven’t really had any symptoms in several months. Dr. Shir gives specific exercises for you to do at home, which really helps. I also have gotten my teeth cleaned and whitened at this location. Everyone is always nice and organized and helpful. Also, the facility is very clean but not in a sterile way, which I love. Thanks, everyone at Artistic. For parking: there is two-hour parking on 6th Street.
