I brought my two fussy kids to have teeth cleaning. The hygienist (Bryan) is very patient with kids. He knows how to handle bouncy kids. We were able to take the xray in 1 attempt (!!!). I got the impression that Dr. Rong takes the time to listen and explain things to the customer, looks out for the customers's best interest, and was non-aggressive with professional recommendations. All the staff was super friendly. And overall we had a great experience with Genuine Care Dental.

I am really really not a fan of going to the dentist. Every single person from the receptionist to the dentist were so nice, it made me forget what I was there for, it was almost pleasant! They were actually on time! I got my cleaning by Anne, she explained each step and made me feel comfortable. Katie was so patient and sweet, she helped me stay calm for my new teeth whiting trays. The dentist thoroughly explained how things were going and answered any questions I had without making me feel rushed. I’m newish to the area and found some really unpleasant dental practices, very glad to have found a normal one.

This place is awesome! Dr. Angela Choy and Dr. Rong have worked very hard to make the office warm and inviting.
Dr. Choy had to repair a filling for me, and it was a great experience. I hardly felt the numbing shot, and she did an excellent job with the repair. She also suggested that I get a new filling for a new small cavity that was starting. There was NO pressure whatsoever, and I was advised that they would keep an eye on it. I elected not to wait and get it taken care of, which they did in a reasonable amount of time.
They do offer a discounted dental plan for those who don’t have dental insurance provided by an employer, which pays for itself with the first 3 cleanings, but other items are provided at a discount.
The staff does an amazing job at making patients feel at ease when coming to the dentist, and Dee at the front desk is warm and welcoming, as a good Receptionist should be. I’m not able to say anything about the other front desk person, as I’ve only dealt with Dee, but she was warm and friendly as well.
I’ve been coming to this office for over 25 years, under Dr. Emerson, and he and his staff did an awesome job as well.

My son was scheduled with same day appointment, saving time, for a Cleaning Check Up and offered a Insurance Plan that would resume his DDS Coverage, that was no longer available with my Municipality Employment. We experienced Professional Dentists Service with Personal Care attention from staff members and DDS.

Genuine Care Dental was great. I recently moved to the bay area and I can say that I have never had a dentist come out and greet me and talk through expectations in the waiting room for a cleaning. All the staff were very friendly, and the Dentist did all the cleaning himself while talking me through what he was doing and sharing tips and tricks. Overall 5 stars!
