Moved here over the summer. Was referred to Sonora Dental. Always nerve racking to change dentists and doctors. This place was first rate. State of the art facility. Professional, extremely competent and friendly staff. Learned quite a bit about the state of my dental health. They were education oriented, which really matters to me. It was a great experience. No hesitation in referring this business to anyone.

The end result of a root canal, crown and fillings seems good. But they left a cotton swab in my mouth which I only discovered when the anesthetic started to wear off. And they were trying to put a light load of anesthetic for the filling, which meant they had to reinject three times. Not my best experience.

I was having a dental emergency at about 4pm last Thursday and being new to town I didn't yet have a dentist. I googled and started calling and calling and calling to no avail. Since it was so late in the work day I didn't expect to be seen until the next day; however, I was warned most dentist's in Sonora are closed on Friday's! I started to panic a bit and even called a few office's in Modesto also with no luck! I continued my search in Sonora this time added "open on Friday" and Sonora Dentist popped up, but because it was now after 5pm I left a message. In fact, I left messages at 2 other office's, but did not expect a call back until Friday. Much to my suprise and relief Karen from Sonora Dentist called a couple hours later! What?! She was amazing and so kind! She got me in Friday at 8:30am! EVERYONE at Sonora Dentist was extremely patient and professional. I was treated with the upmost kindness and understanding. Note that I am quite the baby when it comes to going to the dentist, but they all made me as comfortable as possible. Thank you Karen, Michelle, the 2 Amanda's, and last but not least 1st rate Dr. Josh for saving me and calling me later in the evening to check on me!

Hygienist was nice. Dentist was knowledgeable. Be sure to get second opinion on any major work that is suggested and check prices elsewhere. Financial coordinator was not very nice or helpful.
