My Favorite Dentist

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Yadav for quite some time; he has always had wonderful experiences to share about the office.
I took me a while to make my first appointment. I was very pleased to have met the staff. Right from the start, Natalie was extremely patient with all my questions during the initial call while handling other incoming calls. She is very accommodating toward all inquiries. On the day of the teeth-cleaning appointment, Stephanie was thorough and gentle. I felt so relaxed throughout the entire process. Dr. Yadav is knowledgeable and friendly. It was easy communicating my concerns/questions with his 100% attention.

Doctor Varun has a great personality and pays attention to detail. I have been coming here for several years after he took over the practice from my previous dentist who retired. I have had regular checkups, deep cleanings, and even dentures made by him. He is dedicated to getting things done to your satisfaction. Office staff and hygienists are super nice and do great work as well!

My family and I have been coming to Dr. Yadav's Sunnyvale office for years. I've started going to his Pleasanton location because it's closer to my house, same great service and it's closer to my house!

Dr. Yadav goes above and beyond to help my family and me. Super friendly and could never even think of switching to another dentist. Thank you Dr. Yadav!

I came in for a regular check-up and am pretty happy with the service. The staff is very friendly and professional in their work.
I was perfectly guided regarding my problems, solutions and costs related to them including insurance.
I observed that they have a collaboration with quite a few insurance companies which makes them pretty accessible.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Varun.

I bring my husband following a referral from an insurance representative and I am really happy with my husband results. I am really appreciate for Natalia assistance, not just to be able to speak my husband main speaking language but also all the options in order than my husband I could complete his treatment. She looks really knowledgeable in different areas.

Partly on the basis of the reviews found on google maps I have decided to go to this place after my recent move. I have not been disappointed. This office is incredibly professional and you notice that their care is based on long term goals. Stephanie was amazing and cleaned my teeth so well (I even got compliments while zooming with my family...and they can be very critical at times ;-) ). Dr Yadav was very professional, patient, and friendly. The whole team makes the whole dentist experience worth while. Scheduling an appointment is also easy and there was no waiting time when I came in the office. Thank you! I know where I will stay.

Wish I could give this place 10 stars. I highly recommend My Favorite Dentist to anyone looking for a new place to go. I recently moved to the area and needed to quickly find a new dentist to replace an old crown. Since my first contact, I've been very impressed by the office.

I never thought I'd say that I enjoy going to the dentist, but Dr. Yadav and his staff make it an exceptional experience. Everyone I've met has been friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating. This is the gold standard for dental care.

It’s been an year since I started visiting “My favorite Dentist” and I like it so far. I’m impressed with Dr.Yadav’s professional expertise and attention to details.

Summary: Dr. Varun destroyed my tooth. Do not get a crown here.

I got two crowns on the same tooth from Dr. Varun. The first one leaked after only 6 months, resulting in terrible sensitivity. The second one was also a failure. The crown was poorly fitted, leading to traumatized nerves and infection. I was not able to chew normally and could only drink lukewarm water. It was painful. During this whole time under their care, I communicated my concerns but I was always told that I needed a night guard. I sought second, third, and forth opinions. They all agreed that the crown was very poorly done and it had nothing to do with the lack of a night guard.

I ended up needing a root canal treatment so my tooth is now dead thanks to Dr. Varun Yadav.

To get a crown, they also require you to buy a warranty. The warranty will stay valid only if you visit them for cleaning twice a year. In other words, you have to remain being their patient for 5 years to have your crown insured. They did not tell me about the validity requirement until the day of the appointment.

Upselling is also a big thing here. They recommended Invisalign on my first visit. They didn't really listen to my concerns. They seemed to only care about selling you things and getting the most out of your insurance.

I understand that dental procedures can be difficult and mistakes happen, but this office failed to communicate with me and did not listen to my concerns. They didn't really admit their mistakes until I called them out after seeking the second opinion.

Cleaning experience was fine here, though.

UPDATE to clarify the response from the owner:
- Previously, my tooth was chipped and was already fixed by another dentist by filling. Dr. Varun recommended a crown claiming that there was cavity in the tooth. However, nothing was fixed and it got so much worse. My tooth is not just broken but it is now dead. I always wonder to this day if I really needed the crown. Even if the tooth was broken before, I would expect it to be fixed not destroyed.
- The second crown was paid for by the insurance. That was expected. They are supposed to do that anyway. It was not out of kindness. In addition, they made you pay for the lab warranty anyway.
