So happy with my dentist appointment today. My hygienist Alissa is very professional and very thorough. She always does an excellent job. Dr Ra is a superb n fun dentist. Dr. Ra is amazing not only have I been his patient for over 10 years I have followed him to his new establishment which isn't too far from me. After my children's dentist Dr. Kelly retired I was referred to Dr. Ra's office. The minute I walked in the door Gwen at the front office greeted me with a friendly smile. She helped me with all my questions and made me feel comfortable in a new office. So surprised to find out not only my children could receive treatment but the whole family could under one roof. After meeting with Dr. Ra and his professional staff I decided to switch my whole family to this office for all our dental needs.So convenient!

I haven’t gotten a cleaning in a while since I had braces! I recently got them off and got a cleaning at Smile Studio Dentistry. It was my first time having an appointment at Smile Studio Dentistry and I had Angela Que do my cleaning and she was really nice and gentle throughout the whole appointment! Clean office and very kind staff. We have not been treated by Dr. Ra, but we met him and he is very nice. The pediatric dentist, Dr. Berry, is excellent! She is so patient and really puts the child at ease. We wouldn't go to anyone else!

I don’t usually write reviews, however this time I had to because I am afraid that Dr. Ra has insulted my intelligence. Anyhow, I go to the dentist twice a year but since my own dentist was out of the country last spring, I went to Smile Studio in Upland for the first time for a general checkup. Staff was very nice and friendly and at first, I had a good impression of their office. After some introductions and taking an x-ray, Dr. Ra looked at the results of my x-ray and told me I have a very bad cavity that would require a root canal and crown and that if I don’t get his suggested treatment, it is going to be very bad and painful. I did not go through with the procedures he suggested, listening to my intuition/logic- my Ph.D. emphasis is in advanced GAME THEORY- warned me that something was off. Two weeks seeing Dr. Ra, I went to another dentist and did not tell him anything about what Dr. Ra has told me. He did the full checkup and x-ray and he said I have no cavity. In December 2017, 6 months after seeing the second dentist, I went in for another checkup again but this time with my own dentist. I told him about what Dr. Ra had told me. Although there was not really a need for new x-ray, I insisted because I wanted to be absolutely sure. He did the full x-ray and checked everything, and he said there is no cavity. A few days ago, I received a call from Dr. Ra’s office reminding me that I should go to their office for a check-up. I did not go but thank you so much for reminding me to write this review...
