The Tender Dentist

Dr. Shahen Rostamian is an excellent dentist. He takes the time to explain every procedure he is doing. Him and his staff members are very professional and helpful. His whole office is very neat and relaxing that you don't want to leave.
Dr. Rostamian is very skillful and caring and I want to thank him for the great experience and quality work he has done for my teeth.
My sincere recommendation and reference to all is to go visit Dr. Rostamian (my favorite dentist), if you have any dental problems.

I am the biggest baby and needlephobe in the world and was totally put at ease by Dr. Rostamian and his wonderful team. I had deferred maintenance that involved three crowns and two fillings - broken down into three visits. They made the experience painless and as pleasant as possible. The dental work is top notch. He really is the most tender and compassionate dentist I've ever seen. Highly recommend!

I had broken my front tooth yesterday and my boyfriend recommended seeing the dentist that fixed his tooth earlier that week. I called them, hesitant, saying I wasn't sure about my insurance coverage. The lady said not to worry, and since it was an emergency they could see me tomorrow. So i showed up and was seen right away.
The dentist, Dr. Shahen was so kind, caring, polite and considerate. He took the utmost care in listening to my needs and shaped my new tooth perfectly and artfully, and during the process, constantly checking in to see i anything hurt. "I don't want you to have to feel any pain while I'm working on you." he said. While he sculpted my tooth back to normal, the wonderful lady at the front desk researched and tracked down my insurance for me. I cannot believe this act of kindness. It couldn't have come at a better time. I am so thrilled to have my smile back.

This was my first experience with this dentist. I had broken a rear molar a few days ago with a mercury filling and my dentist was not available. So I decided to go and drive to The Tender Dentist and give him a try. I had an 8:30 AM appointment and within a few hours I had my permanent crown in place. This is my third crown and this one feels like the perfect fit on the first visit. Amazing!

The staff were professional and kind. They did everything they could to make my appointment as enjoyable as possible. Special shout out to Mirna and Brianna.

Pain management was excellent as I have a few very sensitive teeth. Dr. Rostamian was patient and worked to help relieve my pain. He was constantly speaking to me to judge any discomfort and doing all he could to alleviate it. As his business is called 'The Tender Dentist' you can imagine this is of importance to him and it showed.

Mercury gas management was also excellent using gas vacuum to reduce mercury vapor inhalation during removal of my old filling. In fact Dr. Rostamian prefers never to use a mercury amalgam to fill cavities and uses alternate filling material that is non-toxic. He would even have me hold my breath for a moment when the procedure would cause a possible exposure.

I had a full set of x-rays using his new equipment that reduces exposure to about 5% of what I was using before. The assistants did not ever have to leave the room during exposures. The digital images were promptly displayed on a large screen in front of me.

The equipment all seemed to be state-of-the-art or nearly so. The fun part was watching my crown be created right in front of my eyes. That was amazing to watch.

The real attribute that I saw in Dr. Rostamian's work was his experience with his equipment. This means much more than the equipment itself. If you have a high tech piece of equipment, but don't have the experience to use it properly then you will have a sub-par result. Dr. Rostamian has spent over 7 years using this crown crafting machine. Which is, in my opinion, half high tech and half art. It's not the tool, but the craftsman that makes the greatest difference.

If my initial experience is any indication you will be well treated with the very best equipment by a very kind and skilled dentist.

This is the best dental office I have experienced in my life. My family attends regular visits, and each time we feel personally welcomed - never like a number. We are treated respectfully and never have to be concerned about protecting ourselves against unwanted treatments or chemical exposure. I love that we can all (3) be scheduled in the same time block, but still be in and out within an hour or so. Their sue of technology is a benefit as well. We typically communicate by text, which saves time and hassle, and provides reminders that I can quickly access. Even with cancellations or reschedules, I never feel hassled. It's quick, efficient, service with a smile throughout the staff, and we couldn't ask for more.

Everyone hates the dentist but thanks to Dr. Shahen and his team, the experience was the best dental experience i've had. Appointments are easy to make and they send you a reminder thru text so u remember your appointment date even if you set it up months ago. They are professional, caring, and do an exquisite job. Dr. Shahen did say he'd change my views on dentists and dental visits and he definitely did. An excellent experience overall and i would definitely recommend them to family, friends and even strangers 😉. If you're looking for a dentist, make sure to check them out.

Dr. Rostamian and Mirna are an amazing team. Both are very nice and knowledgeable. They make you feel 150% comfortable with whatever you're doing from just a normal cleaning to a filling. Dr. Rostamian will take care of you and your teeth. Best dentist I've ever had! I am referring Dr. Rostamian to everyone I know!

I have an reoccurring fear of dentistry, as I'm sure a lot of the public has as well and due to my fear, I've been reluctant to see a dentist. Dr. Rostamian made me feel at easy with his very caring and nurturing vibe and although I didn't need any major work (thank God!) I will be seeing him for my regular visits and I know where to go in case I ever have an dental emergency! I will also introduce my family to the tender dentist for all their needs.

Great Dentist very intelligent and knows his craft!!! It's not everyday that you get a doctor that wants to educate you about keeping your teeth clean and in good condition!!! Very clean facility and lovely staff that makes you feel comfortable like your part of their family!!!

Best dentist ever! Pictures, X-rays, 3D scan to make sure everything comes out perfectly. He takes his time and has a good heart. Mirna and Yasmin are great as well. Give The Tender Dentist a try!
