Modern Dentistry of Northfield

Wow! Dr. Smith and team are awesome! I came in for a cleaning and was pleasantly surprised when I came in. The office is cute and modern, check in was super easy, the dental assistants are great, and Dr. Smith was awesome! On the day of my visit, I was assisted by Taylor (at the front desk) and Alejandra (Dental Assistant). During my visit, Dr. Smith listened to my concerns with my teeth and was also super transparent about what he recommended for my treatment plan. Also, they have the capability to do an in-house crown, which makes it easier for scheduling around work— gone are the days of having to go in multiple times for a crown. Lastly, Dr. Smith did a great job with my crown and making cosmetic changes to my teeth. I have two big events happening and now that I have my crown and teeth looking in top-top shape, I can rest assured knowing that my teeth are now in great condition AND bright and sparkly.

No one likes to go to the dentist, NO ONE! I for one am guilty of letting my oral care go to the toilet! In addition I also now needed dental clearance for hip replacement surgery! I visited two dentist offices and came out fearing the worst...complete upper and lower dentures! I remembered that my wife had a emergency crown done at Modern Dentistry that went very well.

When I walked in for my initial consult, I was treated like a human being with dignity and respect! From the first moment! With Meagan and Chelsey at the front desk, thank you for helping me understand my bill! Dr. Brian Smith, thank you for putting me on the right track with my dental needs! My smile says it all! Thanks to all the dental assistants for putting up with Dr. Smith's and I's musical choices! It was fun!

The team you have down there is top notch! I now feel comfortable going to my dentist! I look forward to seeing everybody the next time I come in!

I highly recommend Dr Smith and his team for your dental needs. I really appreciate how he takes the time to educate you and explain the “why” behind his recommendation. I used to have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist but that seems to have gone away. Iveta is a rock star hygienist and the rest of the team is always extremely friendly and caring. Additionally, the office is clean and they are up to date with the latest technology. Only good things to say about Modern Dentistry of Northfield!

I broke my back molar while I was out of town over and started searching for dentists through my insurance. Modern Dentistry of Northfield had great reviews so I gave them a call. The place looks great inside and the staff greeted me right away and gave me a mask while I waited in the lobby.

Laura took all my dental xrays, did my cleaning, and assisted Dr. Smith... She was very efficient and sweet! Dr. Smith greeted me with a smile, he was cracking jokes and make me laugh; putting me at ease. He told me I needed a crown and for safety measures suggested I may need a root canal. I was appreciative that Taylor, my Texas brother (lol), one of the assistants walked through the costs which I truly appreciated as this was my first major dental purchase. And good news, no root canal was needed! Phew...

As I hadn't been to the dentist in a year, they gave me a cleaning and talked me through my gum health, and Laura gave me a blanket, and made sure I was comfortable.

I've already scheduled my next cleaning and HIGHLY recommend Dr. Smith. They made the crown in the office so I didn't have to go back in and I purchased the CEREC crown as it lasts longer and looks natural and has a 5 year warranty.

Dr Smith and Dr Perry are extremely talented and knowledgeable dentists. They do quality work and really take the time to get to know you and your concerns. They do such a good job with educating and explaining everything in detail to the point of where you can actually understand what is going on in your mouth and are then able to make a decision together on the best options of treatment for you.

This practice has a great group of specialists in office, so no need to be referred out to see a periodontist, oral surgeon or root canal specialist.

I highly recommend this awesome office!

Recently switched dentists to Modern Dentistry of Northfield and really enjoyed my first experience with them. The staff was consistently kind (Alondra and Julia!) and their level of technology is pretty impressive (3D models for the win!). Dr. Smith was welcoming and I also felt like I learned a lot more than I usually do about my own mouth and tooth wear/tear in general. Thank you!

I love that they are technology forward, which helps reinforce that their dental practice is modern as their name implies.
