Dr Mitchell and his entire staff (especially assistant Betty) did an outstanding professional job at saving my fractured molar that I figured they would need to extract. They went the extra mile (and time on a busy day) to preserve the tooth and cap it with a Crown. Being a retired physician myself I have a discerning eye for excellent care. I will be coming back to Dr Mitchell and his wonderful staff for my dental care!

Friendly staff at the front desk, reaching out to help and giving you the impression right away that they can solve any issue you may have.

Hygienist is the best and I was so pleased to have had her for the last two cleanings. Gives you the impression right from the start that she is very competent and she is, but her rapport with her patient is equally professional.
Dr Ben is easy to relate to and quickly figured out why my night guard had recently cracked. Communicated to me that a new one would be made for me and that all the measurements for it were in your information system.

I feel privileged to have such a professional dental practice in Summit County which is staffed with friendly, competent people who genuinely seem to be enjoying serving their patients.

The teamwork was the best yet since I've been a patient of yours.

Absolutely loved my visit! And loved that they had dogs in the office because it was so cold outside! My one year old LOVES critters and just smiled the whole time we were in the office! Staff was amazing and the actual cleaning was superb!

I had a great experience here with Amber as my hygienist, and Dr. Mitchell as my dentist. It is a very clean facility, with really a really nice staff. They make you feel right at home, while providing excellent care.

Good communication by phone and text. Pleasant cleaning. Thoughtful consideration of additional alignment services. They also did a great job helping a visiting family member with a broken crown for an emergency visit.

I have now visited this facility 3 times and have been very pleased each time! From start to finish every employee I have encountered has been kind and compassionate. Thank you for providing great care!

Very professional, efficient, modern dental care all delivered with a personal touch. Cari Ann (my hygienist) took time to ask me questions, explained everything she was doing, and took time to instruct me in the proper way to use an e brush ( yep it’s different) and floss. (. Not just lazy floss). It’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed being in a dentist’s chair.

The team at Summit Dental Group is very helpful and friendly. The care provided is outstanding! They care about me! Dr Steven Mitchell is very thorough and gentle. I highly recommend Summit Dental Group!!!

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IVE EVER LEFT A BAD REVIEW IN MY LIFE, normally I only write happy reviews but I would hate to see someone else be taken advantage of by this practice. New to the area, I called around to find a practice that accepted my Dental Insurance so I could go to my yearly check-in (I had TWO INSURANCES, so I wanted to ensure I wouldn't pay out of pocket wherever I went). I asked/confirmed they took my insurance because paying out of pocket was not an option, my teeth are fine and I would not go to checkup if it weren't covered by insurance, to avoid that financial strain. I EVEN DOUBLE CHECKED AT THE FRONT DESK, BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT, THAT I WOULD NOT BE PAYING OUT OF POCKET FOR THE SERVICE. Afterwards, I get hit with an out-of-network bill. They tell me "we accept your insurance, your insurance doesn't accept us". I ASKED IF THEY WERE AWARE OF THIS ON THEIR END PRIOR TO MY APPT. AND THEY SAID YES, "Yes, we could see that on our end," They just left that part out when I was making my appointment and I trusted them. I will never recommend them, they obviously are more focused on booking patients than looking out for people with financial concern.

My mother has managed dental practices my entire life, and when I told her about this, she was equally appalled by the deceit. She said her offices would never withhold such pertinent financial information from a client if they were aware. Very disappointed I chose Summit Dental Group.

Between the administrative staff, my hygienist and the dentist, I always have a good experience on all counts. The professionalism and sincere desire to do right by the patient is the standard by which other dental offices should emulate.
