Dr. Weyman and the entire staff are exceptionally professional and friendly. I've never been to a more welcoming and knowledgeable dental office. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by smiling(I assume, the masks get in the way) faces and a simplistic check-in process. This office is very cautious about COVID-19, which made me feel safe and protected during my visit. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me. As far as I'm concerned, you've earned a lifelong customer.

I have always been afraid of going to the dentist until I found dentistry under sedation about 27 years ago. It was wonderful. It took all the fear and discomfort out of going. That fear can stop one from getting the proper dental care and as you get older, bad dental habits can lead to severe health problems. So I have had many experiences with sedation dentistry.

I found Clarkson Dental and I discovered a dental practice a cut above the rest.
The OFFICE is run very well with plenty of information on how they work and what is expected of their patients. Nothing is left to guess work!

The STAFF is knowledgeable, friendly and caring. I discovered that everyone is extremely understanding of the fear a lot of people have surrounding a dentist visit. That in and of itself, was very comforting. I never ever felt that my fear was an imposition or that I was looked at as weak. On the contrary, I was embraced.

The SEDATION is amazing at Clarkson Dental. It is light enough to be 100% effective, I had zero nausea and after I got home I seemed to wake up feeling great and could function very well. The local numbing was gone by the time I was really aware, almost like it never happened. Dr. Weyman is a sedation genius!!!

The AFTERCARE is very thorough and if followed as directed, makes the recovery all that much easier. I had very little post treatment pain and what I had was managed with Advil.

I would not hesitate to recommend this office to anyone who has a fear of dental treatment. Believe it or not, I look forward to going to the dentist and I thank Dr. Weyman and his awesome staff for everything they have done for me.

I do not recommend this dentist. I needed a dentist closer to my new home, so I chose Dr. Weyman due to his good reviews. However, I would suggest not always trusting the reviews. First, the office is quite outdated and dirty. Second, Dr. Weyman completed some fillings on a few of my teeth in December 2020. I returned to Dr. Weyman's office a week after the fillings due to extreme pain, but he said there was nothing wrong with the fillings. I have had a lot of fillings and had never experienced pain like that after a filling. Now 5 months later, the pain remains, and I still have been unable to fully chew on that side of my mouth.

Today, I got the fillings redone by my trusted dentist back home. He said the pain I have when chewing is probably due to an issue with Dr. Weyman's filling process, either they did not dry the tooth well enough or did not apply the light for long enough. I remember that Dr. Weyman's assistants who helped with the fillings were unsure of how long to hold the light on each tooth. I do not post this review out of maliciousness. I just have spent a lot of money and a lot of time in pain due to poor practices of this office, so I unfortunately would not recommend this office.

We have been going to Clarkson Dental for over 20 years. We appreciate the way Dr. Weyman treats us and is always willing to work with us. His staff is amazing and always very friendly. My wife and l have both had sedation appointments and would highly recommend it.

Just had what was about my 6th IV sedation in the 9 yrs I'd been coming here today. Went great!
I do have to say from previous reviews that they've always been greatly concerned with my recovery and health. They called me hours after my procedure today to see how I was feeling.
Dr. Weyman even personally returned a message, over the weekend, that I had left about my recovery.
A couple year's ago I went in for 2 quick visits when a tooth from a former procedure was bothering me. They saw me for free as a follow up to the initial procedure.
Turns out I was grinding my teeth. Purchased a nightguard and symptoms all but went away. I have also noticed an improvement in my mood. Apparently grinding teeth causes jaw pain, and I never realized how much pain I was in until my nightguard began releiving it.
Dr. Weyman is really great!!

I have been going to Clarkson Dental for several years now and couldn’t be happier with their service. Dr. Weyman is a caring and talented dentist who has a caring and knowledgeable staff. First, when you walk in, the office decor is cheerful and a member of the staff greets you warmly. The office specializes in dental phobic patients like myself , so they are extra gentle about verifying our needs and making sure we feel comfortable about our choices. When I first came in I needed lots of dental work so I chose sedation and I’m so glad I did. I was able to get a couple of implants done because of sedation. Between my nerves and my perceived pain I could not have done implants without being totally assured that I could overcome my doubts. The staff and Dr. Weyman do not take sedation lightly and when they feel that a procedure really does not warrant it , they offer other solutions, all of which I have been happy with. Although I am phobic and chose Clarkson Dental primarily for that reason, I recommend this practice to anyone who wants to make going to the dentist a pleasurable ( yes I did use that word ) experience rather than feeling a sense of doom each time an appointment is looming. Their are so many dentists out there and I feel extremely lucky to have picked Dr. Weyman and Clarkson Dental.

I've been going to Dr. Weyman for about 10 years but had a few years off in between for some reason or another. I'm struck by the amount of attention Dr. Weyman and his staff give to every detail. Dr. Weyman doesn't miss anything. The staff are wonderful - really above and beyond. I refer everyone to Clarkson Dental. My teeth have always been high maintenance and going to the dentist meant lots of work to be done. I love that I can get everything needing work completed in one appointment. I refer everyone to Clarkson Dental.

I had to have a lot of dental work done due to the fact that going to the dentist was terrifying to me, so I didn't go for many years. Dr. Weyman and his staff are very understanding and patient. They explain every thing they are going to do and they really worked with me so that I could be comfortable with whatever they were doing. I was sedated twice - once for 4 root canals and an extraction, and once for 6 fillings. To get all that work done in 2 visits was amazing. I had 2 other appointments (no sedation) to seat crowns, and with their patience and gentleness I got through it with no problems. I highly recommend Clarkson Dental if you have a hard time with Dentists, or even if you don't.

The staff here are just amazing. Your comfort is priority number one, which is the complete opposite of every other dentist I have been to. From beginning to end, from receptionists, billing technicians, dental hygienists, and more, this is a top notch crew of people working together to ensure the best experience possible.

You will not be disappointed. I promise.

Great experience here. Appointments are always on time, Doctor and staff very professional, and easy access of Hamden. Billing is very straight forward and they know their stuff when it comes to insurance. Last, they keep up with the latest dentistry technology.
