Cheyenne Mountain Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics

As some of you may know, being a military spouse we are so busy in life we put our needs and self care last. My husband recently retired after 20 yrs of service. We have one more final move out of state and thought I could wait to start taking care of my much neglected self care but my one tooth had other plans. On a recent vacation it decided to break. At first my insurance chose a specific place for me which by a blessing no longer takes my insurance coverage. I went through the list and found the most FANTASTIC office of amazing people and dental MD EVER.. The appointment made from first call to crown procedure was the hands down the best customer service and care ever. Never once made me feel embarrassed. I have never felt so comfortable in any appointment setting I have ever had. I highly recommend Cheyenne Mountain, Melissa and Ryan Pfeiffer, DDS for any of your dental needs. My experience was like another persons review. I went in for a cleaning and they ended up doing an exam and claimed that I had stage 3 periodontal disease and ended up doing a partial only cleaning. After waiting in the chair for 30 minutes they came back with a 2600.00 quote for a deep clean and to put a cap on a filling that I just had done elsewhere 6 months ago. Today I went to another dentist and had a second opinion, she said that I did not have periodontal disease and that she recommended just a cleaning. I’m sure Cheyenne billed my insurance as a full cleaning so I’ll get to have the joy of disputing that with them. If you go here be weary and I’d definitely recommend getting a second opinion.

Always a great experience. Lovely and kind staff. Work is top notch. I had a fear or going to the dentists so avoided it for a while until i chipped a tooth and was forced to see one. Im not so afraid anymore because they are always so gentle and i never feel anything. Highly recommend.

Wasn't pleased with cleaning as my teeth were polished quickly above the gums with none of the usual plaque cleaning. They did a good exam and offered several crowns and a $3676 cleaning ($919 after insurance) which seemed too much. They were nice and we're helpful for calculating insurance costs but I would suggest a second opinion.

The staff are professional and friendly. All the dentists and hygienists are knowledgeable, very helpful and understanding. My family of five are patients here for over 5 years. Highly recommended this office.

Everyone was very nice… But like other people have said I went in for an exam and cleaning and was told that that I have to do quarterly deep cleanings costing $600-$1200 apiece depending on whether or not I buy their insurance. They told me I can’t get a regular cleaning after a deep cleaning, which seemed a little fishy to me. To be fair, they didn’t charge me for the visit, but I am definitely going to get a second opinion.

I’ve had an amazing experience at Cheyenne mountain modern dentistry! The front office staff are friendly, the hygienist and dentist are efficient and knowledgeable! I would recommend this dentist to everyone!

Absolutely amazing staff! They made me feel so welcome and comfortable the while time I was in there! I got a total makeover pretty much I got my teeth bridged and it literally changed my life thanks to Dr. Phifer and Dr. Fraiser I believe that's how you spell it but anyways absolutely amazing thank you guys for changing my life!

I was lied to, blown off, Military insurance Delta dental was charged, 2 times for 1 procedure they don't cover when I was told the procedure for implants was covered by office. Over a month of waiting to see what my insurance would cover for my implants to find out, they never even ran it, and they don't run It until after you have the procedure. 55k, and they don't let you see what insurance covers. I've been in 2 pain for over a month now. If I could give them less than one star I would military people stay away.... I don't enjoy being lied to by people.
