Hands down one of the most thorough and complete dental exams I've ever received. Cleaning was thorough as well. Oral hygienist was extremely knowledgable and provided great advice and feedback. Dentist was great as well. Overall, the staff was very friendly and the practice was accommodating. Highly recommend this practice.

The front desk staff are always super friendly and helpful with insurance, payments and scheduling. I usually see Fran for cleaning and she does a very thorough job and is very nice. Dr. Abramson is an awesome dentist and has a very gentle touch. He has helped alleviate much of my fear of dentists and dental work.

I found Dr. A and his crew through his fantastic Yelp reviews a good while back, and every visit since I've seen why they get such positive reviews. Extremely professional and personable staff who go out of their way to accommodate and explain everything, from the x-rays to the billing. Their new "membership plan" functions very similar to dental insurance but to my mind is a better value. Dr. A. is the bomb. Really thorough, never makes you feel rushed or anxious about the process. I have a long history of anxiety around dentist visits, and Dr. A. puts you at ease, and also let's you know what's likely urgent vs. what you can likely hold off on. Never, ever a hard sell. Pain-free procedures. He also gave me a great referral for a fantastic endodontist when I needed a root canal. And: FRAN IS THE BEST HYGIENIST in DC for TEETH CLEANING, HANDS DOWN!!! Like everybody else in the office she's super gentle and super thorough. Every point of contact in the place when you walk in the door is a positive one. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Always a pleasure going to Modern Dentistry. Everyone is super friendly and every procedure has been pain free with a throrough explanation of the procedure and potential complications. I just wish they weren't on the other side of DC as it can take as long as an hour to cross the city for morning/afternoon appointments.
