have been going to Dr. Hines for 7 months, and here's my personal experience.
I have been to a few dentists in my lifetime along with a couple of bad experiences. However, Dr. Hines has transcended above
them all. He is a very professional, outstanding, and excellent! dentist who genuinely takes pride in his work. There are many dentists in the DMV area, but Dr. Hines is all the way at the top! He's a 10 on a 5-star scale.
He has a very quiet and calming demeanor, all the while honing his craft and letting his work shine through.
My personal experience is that through Dr. Hines expertise, I discovered that a previous dentist had put a filling over a tooth that still had decay on it, not just in one area, but in two places! I was horrified when he showed me the x-rays.
Dr. Hines has completed some complex work on my teeth; very deep fillings, a root canal with a post inserted to support a weak tooth, and a temporary crown thus far, and I am extremely pleased. It's as if Dr. Hines meets the challenge of complex issues head-on and wrestles them into oblivion.
Also, Dr. Hines entire team mirrors his personality. Jamison at the front desk, his assistants, Tamika and Robert, are all extremely pleasant, professional, and have a similar calming influence.
No one enjoys going to the dentist, but I can honestly say that each visit with Dr. Hines has been two thumbs up! Oh, and I forgot to mention that he's the only dentist I know who can numb a patient without them even realizing it. My only regret is I wish I had known him sooner.

I have had many visits to fix various problems and I do appreciate that I have never felt pressured for the most expensive fix. But Dr Hines is also very good at fixing structural issues as well as cosmetic ones. I can definitely smile again and feel better about all of that.

My husband is following Dr. Hines' instructions, and despite, some significant gum issues, still has his teeth as well. At our age, this is a big deal. Dr. Hines spends a lot of time with his patients and this too is a big deal. Highly recommend.
