I’ve been to a ton of dentists and interviewed 4 before starting my procedures after I moved. This dentist is very nice and he has a nice chair side manner. He is a bit slow in getting a plan together and it changed as I went. He did a wonderful job on my teeth but.....this is why I will NEVER EVER go back. The billing! I went to my last visit and was told I would owe such and such money. The girl who did billing was at lunch and I assumed she was correct. My husband had to cash in some of his 401k to pay for this and we only wanted to take out exactly what it would cost. When I went for my last visit the money was considerably less then I owed. I was taken aback because it was a bit over a thousand dollar difference. The billing girl and the lady who told me the other amount were both there this time. Before I paid them I asked “are you sure this is all I owe, are u definitely sure”. She replied “yes, I am sure”. I explained I thought I owed more and she said “no, you don’t as the insurance has paid ”. I paid them and then made a fool out of myself, lol asking them again and again with patients over hearing me 4 x asking. Imagine how happy I was to have an extra 1200 that didn’t have to go to dentist. I asked 2 more times before leaving the office and all 3 x they assured me that everything was paid. On my way to the car I turned around and went back in , I had to make sure...I mean 1200 dollars to me is a lot of money. I went back in and asked one more time (if your counting that’s 4 x now) they laughed and she went over her books again and once again said “you are good you don’t owe us anymore money, I promise” yes....she said “I promise”. She went over it one last time and said the insurance has paid everything and what I paid that day was included in the monies I gave them. Sooo..I finally went home. Guess what? 6 weeks later I get a bill for a bit over 1200 dollars . I mean COME ON! I asked 4 darn Times! FOUR TIMES! I can’t go to a dentist where the price changes each time u go. I know all about insurance company’s not paying on a procedure I’m aware of that. But I was told they did and that we were squared away. For that reason alone I will never go back to this office.....ever! It’s a shame too as it was close to home and the dental assistant was probably the nicest young lady ever. I’ve found a new dentist where you know exactly what u will pay with no hidden costs , or screwed up billing. Ocala True Care is worth the ride and everyone from the receptionist to the dentist is amazing. I should have gone with them to begin with. I gave 2 stars. 5 for the dental assistant, 4 for the dentist 3 for the hygienist and a big fat ZERO to the billing department. So that makes my google review on this office a 2. Oh and needless to say I will be sending them a dollar a week for that bill if I even do that.

my first visit here was for a broken tooth , I had a crown performed ( my 1st) it went excellent. I moved here and never had a dentist here until now. my experience was great and all the staff are so nice.

Wonderful experience for a painful problem, had a tooth that needed to be extracted, I am an existing patient, I didn't have an appointment walked in a 9 am. Staff very compassionate and understanding worked me in removed tooth out the door by 10:30 and pain free. Thank you Tom cunliffe

Writing this for a friend. He was able to get an appointment for the morning after he called. The repair was done the day of the appointment. The staff was very professional and made him feel like he had been going to that office for years, even though this was his first time.
