We called in late on a Monday afternoon after I pulled a crown off a tooth. They said, “come on in,” despite the fact they were about to close…and I was not a current patient. The receptionist, Rose (the assistant) and Dr. Montz were very professional, compassionate and friendly. I was in and out of there in 15-20 minutes with my crown reattached. I went to River City Dentistry on a friend’s recommendation; I have already thanked him. We are snowbirds, but we have now found a great dental practice in Volusia county.

I visited the office today as a new patient on an emergency basis. I too am in the medical field and manage a local medical office and six surgical physicians. I really liked the doctor I felt he was very gentle spirited (I’m scared to death of dentist) and he was very professional. However I had THE WEIRDEST nurse.. unprofessional and talked to another nurse who was shadowing as if I wasn’t there and almost seemed like she was more concerned about talking to the girl.. when I said the roof of my mouth was sensitive she looked at the person shadowing and said the weird nurse literally goes “ well she (me) says that the roof of her mouth is sensitive and it could be from her car accident (which happened over a decade ago lmao) or it could just be all I n her head but I’m not going to tell her that“ . Anytime I would ask that nurse she anything she would let out a huge ugh and I was like is this lady for real? She definitely wouldn’t last a week at my practice. Everyone else was super friendly and professional and I’m very happy they were able to see me on short notice

The office manager is perky and happy, Susan did a great job on my cleaning, and Dr. Montz is an old pro. Prices reasonable, and there was no attempt to hard-sell me into procedures of dubious necessity. I'll likely return.
