I was a new patient with this office and noticed on my first visit that the receptionist was very rude with myself, others in the waiting room and on the phone. I proceeded to go back have my teeth x rayed, examed and cleaned which they did a fantastic job.
A few weeks later I returned to have a filling performed. Upon arrival the receptionist was very rude again and very nasty with others in the waiting room. It bothered me to the point that I just got up and left. Considering that I did sign in I was very surprised that no one ever bothered calling me to find out where I went or what happened which makes me question how much they really care about their patients.
First impressions are everything. I can speak from personal experience since I run a business that I would not want my receptionist speaking to people the way theirs did. She's the first person that clients come in contact with and just makes the company look extremely bad.

This office and staff is amazing! The staff goes out of their way to make my boys ages 13 and 16 comfortable. Dr.mizzell is an amazing dentist and really cares about her patients!

I showed up early for a 2 o'clock appointment to find the boor locked with no note to explain why. I assumed they must be at lunch, when 2 o'clock hit and the doors were still locked and after several calls to the office and waiting around for 15 more minutes they were still locked. I then assumed maybe they were closed because it was a holiday, just to get a message later that I missed my appointment and that they took us off their client list. When I called to let them know what happened and that I could show her my caller ID where I tried calling several times after our 2 o'clock appointment and that the door was still locked, the receptionist was very rude to me and didn't care. Extremely unprofessional!
