Lepore Comprehensive Dentistry

Lepore Comprehensive Dentistry certainly lives up to the comprehensive portion in their name. My dental experience with them, from start to finish, was extremely positive. Their front office team was so efficient and accommodating in scheduling and confirming my appointments. Dr. Erin Dougherty was very kind, comforting and thorough. She definitely took the time to explain her findings from the X-rays and photos of my teeth to help me have a better understanding of my oral health. The dental hygienist, Claudia, was so professional, knowledgeable and truly did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. I don’t think they had ever felt cleaner! Overall, my experience was very positive and I highly recommend them. Every single person in this practice, from front office to back, were so warm and welcoming, and made you feel like family. Thank you Dr. Dougherty and Team! :)

I have always hated going to the dentist after having had bad experiences at several other practices. I was hesitant about finding another dentist, but was pleasantly surprised when I found Dr. Lepore. Dr. Lepore and his staff create a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. After my first appointment I felt like I was part of the family. Dr. Lepore and his entire team do an exceptional job at explaining everything before, during, and after any dental work. Dr. Lepore is the best dentist I have ever been to and his team follows suit. Even though going to the dentist is not the most enjoyable experience, it is nice having a dentist who is very thorough and makes you feel comfortable while you are there.

Dr. Lepore and his staff are amazing. I absolutely hate going to the dentist (who doesn’t?) but they make it so much easier. They are gentle and genuinely concerned about your comfort. They take the time to discuss treatment with you but are never running behind schedule. They block off an appropriate amount of time for your appointment to provide quality care. Dr. Lepore has even personally called me to follow up and check on me after placing a crown. I didn’t know doctors still did that!

I couldn’t be happier to have chosen Lepore as my new dentist office! Every single person on the team is so SO friendly, kind, and helpful. I truly enjoy going to see them and my teeth both look and feel great.

Comprehensive is the name of this practice and also is my experience. I had a traumatic loss of my front teeth to which I trusted Dr Lepore to complete the cosmetic work afterward. His staff was knowledgeable and sensitive for my assessment, thorough enough to even find a cavity I was unaware of. His work to place the temporary then permanent crowns was comfortable. I am most impressed with the match of the crowns to my natural teeth.

My experience with a filling and general cleaning are top notch. The administrative staff is responsive and timely as well as knowledgeable about insurance claims. You can absolutely trust this practice with all of your dental needs.

Dr. Lepore and his entire staff are the best I have ever encountered. They have guided and comforted me through a grueling series of dental procedures. Because of past experiences, I had developed an extreme fear of any visit to a dentist. Thanks to Lepore Dentistry I no longer dread going to the dentist. I came to Lepore this summer to get my teeth cleaned and get 5 cavities filled. I had an amazing experience throughout the entire process. Lepore and his team do a great job of explaining their procedure before and during the process, which made me much more comfortable as it was my first fillings. They do an excellent job of numbing the target area, so I was pain free the entire time. All the staff and friendly and welcoming, and they all work very well together. I would highly recommend to anyone!

I have never had a dentist like Dr Lapore. We were new to Dunedin and I discovered I needed EXTENSIVE dental work. I went to his office for a second opinion because his reviews were fantastic. Now I know why.
There was a relatively in depth new patient packet, an exam, a very thorough presentation and question and answer session and by then, I was sure I was in the right place.
Dr Lapore is the perfect combination of not doing more work than you need, yet advising you on what you do need and why, to prevent future troubles. Everything about the office is accomodating and patient oriented, yet Dr. Lapore will kindly, yet bluntly, give you his professional opinion when he feels strongly about something. I really appreciated that. He advocates for you and your long term dental health in a way I have never experienced before. Dr Lapore is very good at, and thorough when, explaining what is going on in your mouth. I ended up needing gum surgeries, root canals and crowns. Dr Lapore and his staff directed and coordinated everything with other doctors he recommended and often works with, and they were all wonderful.
Everything about the practice is upbeat, positive, and pleasant, while at the same time very competent and professional. I was actually able to relax as soon as I sat in the dreaded dental chair because I felt so confident in every one's capabilities. Is it weird to say I actually enjoyed going there? (I was there A LOT because I needed so much done !).
I started all this work right before Covid hit so things got delayed when everything was shut down. I ended up moving to Gainesville and still chose to continue the end of my dental work with Dr Lapore (6 hours round trip). He and his staff are that good!
Do not hesitate to choose Dr Lapore as your dentist. The great reviews are true!
P.S. I had extensive work but my family used his office for regular stuff (cleanings, cavities etc) and that was great too.

Dr. Lepore and his team have truly created an experience like no other. Dr. Lepore and his staff are knowledgeable, straightforward, skilled, and honest. They have communicated every detail and explained every reason for how and why they do something a certain way or take the course of action they see as best. At every point, they are always the first to provide a chance for me to ask questions or voice any fears and concerns. I hadn't been to the dentist in 10 years because I was scared due to some negative past experiences with another dental office. They never placed any judgment. They kindly stressed the importance of prioritizing oral health while asking me what they can do to help to ensure that I don't get discouraged or fearful. They spent over 2 hours with me as a new patient, taking the time to get to know me so they can provide the most wholistic care possible. At my first filling appointment, they made me feel at ease with their skilled way of building rapport. Benzocaine was used prior to the lidocaine injection, ensuring a painless administration of medicine. A soft, steady tap to the shoulder provided an alternate focus if I had even felt any pain (which I didn't). Observant eyes were always watching if I needed anything during the visit. If you're considering this office, don't hesitate because they are one of a kind.
