I called them with a dental emergency and in a great deal of pain because they are my family dentist. My children and spouse have received dental services from this practice since we moved to FL over 3 years ago. When I called I was turned away and told to go see an emergency dental facility. I went to an Aspen Dental (Note: avoid these places like the plague, bad news). Aspen was not able to help. Doctors Lake Family Dental was then willing to see me on an emergency basis, and by this time I was in enough pain to cause tears. The dentist took X rays and it was clear I had and infection and a small crack in the tooth. The dentist assured me the tooth could be saved and set me up for a root canal, which was to take place 2 weeks later! Meanwhile, I was to take a heavy dose of antibiotics, which was believed to slow down the infection and help ease the pain. When the dentist was asked about pain medication, he said a mix of ibuprofens and Tylenol would work fine. Obviously, this dentist has never tried Vicodin... Over the next 3-4 days I followed the dentists instructions and the pain just kept getting worse. I called the dentist back and they said they could not drain the area, but then when I asked about pain medication, they set me an appointment for that day to TRY to drain to area. Well, the pain just kept escalating and unfortunately my primary physician was not in the office that day so they sent me to an urgent care where I was promptly turned away and told to take ibuprofen and Tylenol. I understand the opiate crises the US is faced with, and I get it, but I am NOT A DRUG addict and I have a genuine need for something strong enough to relieve my miserable pain. The dentist at Doctors Lake had no passion for my pain and treated me like a drug addict. I am now at the ER praying that they will be able to help me. I DO NOT recommend this dentist to anyone. Please be warned, if you have an emergency dental need, Doctors Lake will not be helpful and you will suffer awfully.

This practice is amazing! Dr Boitet and his assistant Rhoni were absolutely amazing! I had a crown and didn’t feel anything. Took their time with me to make sure I was always very comfortable! Their customer service is the absolute best I have ever experienced!
