If you live in the Fleming Island or surrounding areas, I highly recommend Island Dentistry for all of your dental needs. I was so nervous going into my first appointment, having not been to a dentist in over six years, but the warm greeting I received from the lovely ladies at the front desk and the gentleness of my hygienist, Vanessa, quickly put me at ease. I no longer fear going to the dentist!

Absolutely amazing! Spa-like dental experience. Not only are they one of the best places to go for all your dental needs but they are actively involved in the community. Susan does a great job representing them all over Clay County! If you are a new patient, BOOK NOW! It took us over 2 months to get an appointment but it was well worth the wait! And don't worry about insurance, they have a VIP plan that made my insurance look like a joke so make sure you take advantage of that! It's truly a blessing to have such an amazing business in our community! Highly recommend!

Very professional team. Ms. Yarborough is perfectly skilled at what she does and made it a superb patient experience instead of what I anticipated to be yet another daunting dental visit. State of the art equipment is used as well. Very nice staff. I HATE dental offices, but this one just might be the sole exception.

The staff at this office made me comfortable from the first phone call. They made sure I had paperwork in advance and answered my insurance questions. The office was clean and inviting. I was given a tour when I cam in and was introduced to all the staff. My hygienist, Lee was friendly and efficient. Dr. Scales came in to check my teeth and was personable, competent and informative. I felt very at ease here and plan to recommend this office to friends and family.

I had not been to the dentist in a while and was quite apprehensive, but from the moment I walked into the Island Dentistry offices and the friendly receptionist popped out from behind the desk to greet me with a warm smile, I was at ease.
Sara was the hygienist who performed the work on me initially, and she immediately relaxed my anxiety and made me feel comfortable. She offered that I could watch Netflix or listen to music through headphones while the dental work was performed. She explained everything fully and kept checking every few minutes to ensure I was alright.
I then had some other dental work performed by Dr. Erminy and his assistant Hiatt. I was worried because it could have been painful, bu they were great and ensured I was comfortable. The quality of the work performed was more than I expected, and I no longer have any dental issues or problems because they addressed them.
The check-out procedure is also a delight because the hygienist will not even allow you to get up from the chair unless the check-out desk is clear and ready, and then you are escorted to check-out, where Brittney and Ebony are so friendly and helpful (especially considering I was a bit woozy from the procedure and anesthesia).
I was there three times over the course of a week, and every single interaction I had with every employee was a positive one. It is a rarity these days to see this level of customer service, especially when the quality of dental services is similarly excellent.
